Mr. D RV

"My AC stopped working, and we were heading out on a trip the following week. The RV repair person I normally use was booked up. I stumbled upon this repair person. He was so unbelievably nice and kind. He replaced my AC. We were able to take out the camper the following week as scheduled. When we get to our site, the inside of the RV is completely soaked. The what was water coming from the AC unit. I called him up and he had such an attitude and was so nasty. He is claiming that we hit some thing. And there’s marks on the AC which my husband saw prior to us leaving but we thought they were either shoe marks or grease marks. He came out today to reseal. The AC and I only did I spend $1700 on the AC $200 for the first service call and another $200. He is charging me today to reseal. He is so rude, so nasty. He is only in it for the money. I would never use him again or recommend him. If he does the job and you don’t need him after that he is perfectly great to use. If you have an issue afterwards, he is a nasty old man!!!! If I could give him zero stars I would"

"I was in a jam when I called Mr. D, he came over on the appointment time that we made, it was an electrical issue with my power awning, after a thorough investigation he figured it and resolved my problem. His fee was more than fair for the amount of time he spent on my RV. Would not hesitate to call him again for RV Service, on side note he was professional and took the time to explain the issues and reasons why he was doing what he was doing…."

"I just upgraded from a 28’ travel trailer to a 40’ fifth wheel. The dealer provided a consultation, but I was not comfortable embarking on a road trip because there seemed to still be a bit I did not know. The information on the internet is really quite scarce and fragmented leaving me without the confidence I needed, so I searched around a bit and found Mr. D RV. Now that the mission is complete I will say I could not have made a better decission. The contrast between the level of instruction I received from the dealer I purchased my Grand Design 380Fl from and the instruction I received from Duane is like comparing an ivy league school to a YouTube video. Coming out of a smaller travel trailer I felt I needed to better understand A-Z ‘how to’ properly handle a large rig like my new fifth wheel. Duane was communicative prior to meeting. Once we met, he showed up with checklists and went through every intricate detail of how to properly hitch and un-hitch my RV, pre-travel inspections, preparation for travel, safety, etc.. A-Z he covered everything, I feel completely comfortable and prepared now. Besides all this, Duane is just an all-around nice person to work with. I give 5 stars A++, the RV dealers should take lessons in how to train new RV’ers from Duane."

"For first time RV owners i can not recommend Mr D's RV Basics course any higher. We just purchased our first motor home and were feeling excited but lost. Duane's patient, clear explanation of the RV and its systems was invaluable! He took his time, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly an answering all of our questions clearly and patiently and with a cheerful non-judgemental personality. Prior to the course, we sent him the RV inspection document which we could make neither head nor tail of. Duane showed up on the day of the course with a breakdown of the most important issues which needed repair, fixed those which he could on the spot, leaving us with a list of priorities to take care of. Mr D is an afficianado of the RV lifestyle, and he clearly knows his stuff. Highly, highly, highly recommended, and we'll be using him for repairs and maintenance as often as we can."

"Duane was great to work with as we planned to have him inspect a fifth wheel being sold by a private party. His explanation of the scope of the inspection was helpful, his pricing was fair, and communication with me and the sellers was excellent. Prior to scheduling the inspection, I learned that the fifth wheel had water damage which was not properly addressed by the sellers, so we walked away from the potential purchase and didn't move forward with the inspection. However, I would absolutely work with Duane again. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional RV inspector who is easy to work."
