"I have stopped by several times in the past year, for a watch battery, getting a ring prong fixed and getting a new clasp for my necklace. Whatever I needed, everyone was very helpful and friendly."
"I managed to crush my engagement ring and wedding band which belonged to my husband's grandmother. I knew Bob would be able to make it right, but did not know he could fix it so quickly, beautifully, and at an incredibly reasonable price. I have purchased beautiful gold items here for our daughters and myself and highly recommend!"
"It’s time that I give a well deserved shout out to Sherman & Sons jewelry in Atlantic Highlands New Jersey. These guys have helped me with watch sizing, ring sizing, and now they’ve fixed a loose link on my diamond tennis bracelet, and each time they’ve done it for free. Such great service, they’re very informative, and always have an answer for my questions. Plus they make some beautiful pieces for sale, with the holidays coming up it’s worth taking a look!"
"While I was pleased with the resizing of my engagement ring, the wedding band is sadly an entirely different story. In December I had dropped off both rings to be cleaned, with the wedding band also needing a replacement diamond and a slight reshape as the white gold was a bit soft so over time the shape changed a bit. I received a call a few weeks later saying that the rings are ready for pickup. When I arrived the lady behind the counter took the rings out of their slip and immediately I noticed 2 ADDITIONAL diamonds were missing from my wedding band! It boggles my mind that this was overlooked and given to me in this condition. After showing her she took the ring and went into the back to find out what happened. A gentleman came out (I assume an owner?) and said when the ring was put the machine that cleans/dries (name unknown to me) blew out the other diamonds... After looking at him still shocked that my ring was given back to me worse off! I was told they would replace the missing 2 diamonds on top of the original. I was given a new pickup slip with a Jan. 16th date. Fast forward.. On the day of the pickup slip I called to see how late the store would be open and that I would be by. I was then told by the gentleman that the ring is not ready. After confronting him about this ordeal and the pickup date on the slip he said "wow, no one really looks at the dates on the slip". I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Why even bother giving customers a slip with dates! I said forget it I will come and get the ring.. By the time I arrived it dawned on me that I am out 3 total diamonds, 2 of which were THEIR FAULT and if I went anywhere else I would get charged for 3 replacements. When I arrived I was told they would be closed for 2 weeks but there would be no charge and I would be guaranteed a pickup for Feb. 12 (or 13th) I believe.... another month later! They needed time to match the diamonds I was told. I arrived, the same gentleman came out and gave me the ring. My jaw hit the floor!! The diamonds are grossly off COLOR AND SIZE while the ring has a terrible bend and wave to it! Far worse then when I dropped it off!!! A jeweler thinks this is acceptable? After dealing with something that seemed pretty straightforward for 2 months I again had to show him the terrible flaws and to my utter disgust he simply looked at me and said... "I dont know what to tell you". . Clearly he wanted "this whole issue to go away" All I did then was say.. Thanks, it's perfect shaking my head in disbelief and walked out. I don't care if jewelry is 100 dollars or 10,000. If you can't fix YOUR mistakes and treat your customers with respect you have no right doing repairs or replacements. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY SERVICES. If I was dare charged for any of this it would be the icing on the cake. So in the images you can see the before with my engagement ring and the after with just the band. That is what I was left with. Absolutely disgraceful. Thank God I found another jeweler that helped me correct these issues!!"
"I recently bought 2 gifts from their Jersey Shore Collection and was delighted with the service as well as the quality and design of the jewelry. This is a great store to find a gift for someone special. I am so glad we have this store in our town."
