"I don't understand how this place has good reviews, the food here is not good. The salmon dish has no seasoning at all, the spreads are mediocre, the tzaziki tasted like bland yogurt, the hummus was weird. The spanakopita was awful. The mango salad was okay. The food was cold."

"I love Greek food and appetizers, but not every restaurant can do it well. The flavors here were above average. The staff looked tired as I went in the evening but gave friendly and good service. I don't know why, but the decoration was a little bad for me. I wanted to eat my food and get up right away. their desserts were good but they shouldn't put cinemon on it when serving cappuccino. You can come to try it."

"I recently visited Greek Taverna for a family dinner and we all had a wonderful time. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the food was simply amazing. I particularly enjoyed the souvlaki - the meat was so tender and the seasoning was spot-on. They also have a great selection of wines to choose from. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Greek dining experience."

"This is my first time ordering food from this restaurant, since reviews were outstanding vía UberEats. With that said, I did not hesitate to placed an order for dinner. Perhaps ordering delivery on a Friday during the Dinner rush wasn’t the best idea. We just received our meal and I can’t say I loved it! There are definitely lots of room for improvements! The seafood platter was overly grilled, because the taste of char/burnt was over bearing, and it was way tooooo salty. Excess amount of cuttlefish/squid, a few tiny pieces of octopus (texture was very soft, didn’t seem freshly grilled), and 4 pieces of shrimp- very disappointing for $32. I picked at the food, and ate the shrimps, the rest was not edible. The Greek lemon rice side order was suppose to pair with the seafood platter, unfortunately it was just as salty if not saltier than the seafood platter. Plus, it was missing the lemon flavoring and the rice was over cooked. Fortunately, the Tzatziki sauce and pita bread helped rebalance the high amount of sodium. The pita bread arrived warm, except it was quickly hardening as it was cooling, which tells me that this batch of pita bread is not freshly made. It was maybe leftover pita from lunch service, or even overnight. I wish it was soft and fluffy like other pita breads I’ve had from different restaurants. My husband loved his souvlaki, grilled lamb kabob style. Somehow his rice were well seasoned, flavorful, in comparison to my side order of rice, as opposed to “bland” with salt. He would reorder this dish again in a heartbeat. Overall, the food is not worth $110 for the quality, it’s overpriced for overly salty food. I prefer food that are enhanced with seasonings, and not overdone with salt."

"This Greek restaurant has been in Edgewater for about 10 years and it's just as good as I remembered. The service was excellent as the waiter attended to our needs and answered our questions in a polite fashion. The portions are large and delicious. You may bring your own wine and enjoy your meal with a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Definitely a return."
