"The teachers here are really lazy and are not going at all out of their way to help us students understand our work. I ended up having to go to my parents for most of my work and it’s just really bad. I think they need to invest in better teachers"
"This school needs help. The students are horrible and the teachers don't care. No matter how many times they say they do, I doubt that it's true. If teachers cared they wouldn't put students in trouble for dumb things or have no communication to the students. I personally go to my guidance councilor often but it's not that it helps, it's that I want her to see something is wrong and not emediately assume I have a problem I need to be treated for... What does that do to help with the problem that Davies is a unbalanced school that never listens to the students who out number the adults by high numbers? Adults just never seem to understand that the students actually have good ways to change the school."
"Alright, listen, listen... Davies is a good school in fact and people just continuously fuss about it being bad because they either 1. Are bad in school or 2. Don't CHANGE things in the school. Somethings need changing, like yes, for sure, the dress code for an instance. Currently the student council is trying to work together with the teachers in order to change the dress code so that everyone will have equal dressing rights. But us, the student body, is what makes the district change. We can't depend on the teachers, or the guidance counselors, or even the superintendent, to change our rights. They can only merely attempt to perceive what we see through our eyes. We can make change to any minor, or major thing that is bad about this school ^rebuttal against other hateful comments^ -The real review This school is a really big school, and for the past three years, it was just amazing. Most teachers and staff here are really nice (Including Mr.Dupras, Mrs. Morrison, Mrs Winkler, etc.). Some teachers are more compassionate about their students than others, but no matter what you will always have one teacher/staff member that is outstanding. Our band and choir program is amazing, filled with many unique instrumentalists with two very good music teachers. Guidance counselors and other staff members are really understanding and is willing to listen to you and make a change to the decision at hand. Its just overall a really good school (Even though its the only middle school I went to)."
"Going to 8th grade at this school... The teachers are fantastic! However there is a horrible bully problem, you know what i'm saying? I've been bullied so much in this school, the past two years. Again though, the teachers are the best!"
"I have taught in this school district for many years, and moved from the former middle school to this one when it was built. I knew Mr. Davies personally, and try to carry on his goals for great educational experiences. As a member of the music staff, I must say that we have a strong band and choir program, with an excellent support system of students coming from the Hess Complex. We send our students to excellent music programs - Oakcrest High School and Cedar Creek High School."
