"I attended Medical Career Institute for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and graduated a few months ago. The teachers really want to see you succeed. Dr. Kalam taught my class and he was an excellent professor! He has extensive knowledge in Ultrasound and is very patient and willing to go the extra mile! He provided knowledge and advice for going out into the field that I will take with me. The class was medium sized and I absolutely loved my classmates, we motivated each other until the very end. As for our lab instructor, Michelle, she was a blessing. She shared her passion with the class and her years of experience. She truly prepares you for the real world. I had self doubt when we first started Clinicals and scanning, and Michelle guided me through and taught me to love ultrasound. Recommend MCI!"

"We didn’t have a stable instructor for about a quarter of the year, which made it really difficult. Bigger portions of boards were only covered briefly during lecture, maybe the ciriculum needs updating. However, Dr. Kalam was a great intructor, he was very knowledgable. Michelle was an amazing lab instructor. Shes super patient and is very helpful. The best part of my experience here was my clinical externship. My clinical coordinator Ms. Elezi was absolutely wonderful. She taught me so much, she was very patient with getting me set up for my site & set me up with a clinical site I absolutely loved, I even got employment. She really made my MCI experience."

"Dr. Kalam was great! He is the Program Director and Instructor for the DMS and CVT programs. I was enrolled in the DMS program and he would put together study guides for all the tests and quizzes that would really help us pass and learn the material. He would always relate what we were learning in class to a past experience, which really helped understand the material. Overall, Dr. Kalam was excellent and you could tell he really is passionate about helping his students excel in the sonography field! Michelle, the DMS Lab Instructor, was also great! She helped our class relieve any anxieties we were having and was very relatable. She really spent a lot of time making sure that students understood how to get quality images. She dedicated extra scanning time for students that needed it before class. She also came in extra days when the class as a whole felt like they needed extra practice. Michelle really gave our class as a whole confidence in scanning! Pat was my clinical coordinator and she would also come in as a DMS Lab Instructor. She would always go above and beyond as a clinical coordinator! She made sure I was always on track for meeting all the requirements I needed to graduate. And she also made sure that I was receiving enough scanning time so that I could excel in the program. As a lab instructor you can really tell that Pat is passionate about what she does and she always tries to be hands on in teaching!"

"I graduated from MCI’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in September 2022. I had a great experience from start to finish. Our lecture classes were packed with great information, we were provided with the best resources, and we had the BEST teacher, Dr. Kalam! Ultrasound Physics sounded pretty scary at first, but he makes the class a breeze. I even enjoyed US Physics by the end. Our hands-on lab classes taught me all of the basic scanning techniques. This really prepared me for clinical externship and had me eager to put what I had learned to use. I highly recommend MCI to anyone looking to launch a career in the ultrasound field. This fast paced program sets you up for a great future."

His lectures were based off the textbook a lot, so it was very easy to work with both textbook and lecture material at the same time. I would highly recommend him to any peer or prospective student."
