"I lived with Capstone in Newark for a year and my experience was great as they provided all we needed regarding the housing. If there was any issue with the building, they would respond quickly. The apartments come as furnished and it makes it a lot easier for the move in process specially for students. I would highly recommend Capstone for someone who wants a smooth and easy housing. They also match you with other students of the area which I think is a great thing as everybody is more understanding for each other."

"Capstone elite properties are awesome. They provide really good amenities with reasonable prices. I lived in one of the Norfolk Street capstone elite fully furnished properties. It is nearby light rail station, easy to access public transportation. Facilities inside the room are also commendable. You can also enjoy free wifi once in monthly cleaning, I enjoyed my living there. Management is really helpful."

"I was with Capstone for more than a year. I found them extremely responsive, friendly and professional. The house itself is well maintained and clean. The staff responded to any maintenance requests quite promptly. I had an extremely pleasant stay."

"I should have read the reviews earlier. I got in touch and went to view the room for rent. When arrived at venture link building, their office was never listed. I asked one of the people coming out the door and said they haven't heard of such office, and work in the same building. Later when I called they asked for me to wait outside and Sunny came from the other side of the building and I choose to just not question. After viewing and they had to send me the lease, the lease was totally different from what we discussed. I had to cancel the lease because I couldn't tolerate dishonesty and shady people. Totally wasted my time and made me loose other prospective rentals just because it was closer to where I worked. Good luck anyone picking your calls too. I was really disappointed. Ohww and the ad had said 3bedrooms to be shared but later it was a 4 bedroom, whereby they converted one of the dining rooms as a fourth bedroom. Am pretty sure that's illegal. Very opportunistic and zero care for renters."

"I had quite a mixed experience with Capstone so please read this in entirety to get a better idea of what your experience will likely be: Move in: Horrendous We were told that the apartment we were interested in was undergoing renovations, and that they would all be completed in the span of 2.5 weeks. My roommates and I waited, all the while not hearing from Capstone regarding any updates. The night before the anticipated move in, we call Capstone to find out the status of the renovation, only to be told that they had not even begun, as they were waiting for our security deposit to begin. At this point, we had not even signed (or were even shown) a lease, and Capstone was already demanding money. We paid it. We were then told that renovations would take a few more weeks. A few weeks later, my roommates and I are told to have our first month's rent ready and in cash. I was even told by management to take a picture of the cash so that their team would know that I was "good for my money". Obviously, this is incredibly unprofessional. As it turns out, renovations were still not complete. All in all, we ended up moving in an entire 1.5 months later, and the apartment looked like it had not been "professionally cleaned", as the stove, oven, and fridge all looked quite messy. During the stay: Average Early on, there were several instances when either us, or our friends (all females), would receive surprise visitations from Capstone personnel. This was resolved as time went on, and they finally began notifying residents ahead of time when these visits would be occurring. A few of the appliances were not in functional order either, such as the dishwasher and ice dispenser. My roommate's bedroom had a broken window which took Capstone months to replace. In the meantime, they taped up some plastic. There were several issues with the plumbing which resulted in leaks, though Capstone insists that this was due to our misuse. Move Out: Terrible Each roommate was charged a hefty amount during our move out for things such as cleaning. However, it's doubtful if the apartment was ever even cleaned prior to our initial move in. This just demonstrates how Capstone is not concerned about anything aside from how they can get hold of your money. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. Don't get distracted by pictures of the apartments this company manages. They might look enticing, but it is NOT worth it. Ask around about what kind of experiences people have had with Capstone, because I'm confident that they will all sound somewhat similar to what I've documented here. Read all the reviews and note what the positive reviews sound like."
