"I’m doing a cross-country move for a job relocation and Indiana at Cobalt Lofts has been nothing but an outstanding leasing agent. His attention to detail and customer service is top-notch. He goes out of his way to communicate and responds promptly to any questions. He’s made the process seamless and truly cares about the residents. I’m excited to be a part of the community and attend the events that he plans too!"
"I've been living at the lofts with my husband for almost a year and we have really enjoyed our time here. We have been in the area for a few years as it is an easy commute to NYC. We were reluctant to stay in Harrison due to a terrible living experience at The Eddy. I am glad we gave the Lofts a try. We have had a few minor issues with the apartment but they were addressed and taken care of quickly. Management is responsive on email and very professional. The building throws events for the residents and we appreciate it because we get to catch up with neighbors we don't always see due to busy schedules. Hopefully when the weather gets better the rooftop with be open again and the dog park as well. Other than that, we are happy, easily one of the best buildings in Harrison. If you are thinking of moving to the Eddy, please don't, move here instead :) The Eddy pays their residents money to write 5 star reviews, this review was not paid for. When a building treats its residents right, everyone is happy."
"Living at Cobalt Lofts has been an absolute delight, so far. Let's talk about what makes Cobalt Lofts a truly exceptional place to call home. First and foremost, I have to mention Sherryl, our wonderful concierge. Sherryl's warm and welcoming demeanor, along with her dedication to providing top-notch service, makes every resident feel valued and at home. She truly embodies what it means to have a dedicated and caring concierge. Francesca, the manager, deserves a special mention as well. She's approachable and always ready to address any concerns or suggestions that we may have, fostering a sense of community and trust. The leasing team at Cobalt Lofts has been instrumental in making the move-in process seamless. They were not only professional but also accommodating to our needs and preferences, making our transition stress-free. One of the aspects that sets Cobalt Lofts apart is the fantastic resident events that are hosted regularly. These events allow us to connect with our neighbors and truly feel like part of a community. From holiday parties to fitness classes and themed gatherings, there's always something exciting happening, so special thanks to the dedicated team behind these events. Looking forward to all that's to come over the next 13 months!"
"Significant issues are: 1. Living right next to Red Bull Arena - Cobalt management must give a good-faith heads up to prospective tenants (they didn't give me any) that living right next to Red Bull during Summer is a significant inconvenience given the busy game season. Traffic in the entire town is a nightmare, your Uber/Lyft can't make it to you, forget having your friends and family drive over, forget ordering food. You need to plan your life based on the game schedule. I almost missed an international flight once as my ride couldn't reach/find me. I'm shocked how this overall situation isn't a major lawsuit yet - why would you construct (or allow construction of) major residential complexes right by sports stadiums despite the area having no reasonable parking facilities. I tried to broach this general topic with management but was shut down - they just shrugged their shoulders and asked me to contact the Town of Harrison instead. Don't forget - the noise from the stadium is another issue. 2. Guest Parking spots - the building has very few passes for guest parking. They are almost never available. 3. Amenities - the gym has seen some wear and tear, e.g., the TV in the gym hasn't worked for months and no one seems to have done anything about it. Several Yoga mats have gone missing. The coffee/cold brew stations in the common areas barely work. The stove/grill on the rooftop doesn't work. 4. The area itself - the building is probably is in the worst part of Harrison. There is a big stretch of road between Cobalt and the PATH station that has no street lights at night. Among the newer box shaped buildings that have sprung up in town, this one is the furthest from the PATH station and probably the more expensive one. There is a smelly river on one side of the building by Cape May St. There's an industrial park next door so Cape May St also gets a lot of heavy commercial truck traffic, specially throughout the night. 5. Front desk hours at night - very hit or miss. I've sometimes seen them stay beyond 10 pm, sometimes not. But either way, they are gone from late night to about 7/7:30 am in the AM. Doesn't feel safe. Specially if you have an emergency, lose your keys, etc. There is a helpline number which I called once when I was locked out late night due to a late flight in. They were not able (or willing) to help. 6. General upkeep - while the employees always seem to be very hard at work and I want to give credit where due (kudos to them), the general areas are often not clean. I've seen cigarette buds and pet poop in the corridors. 7. Management - not very responsive. There was a recent change of guard from one company to the next. Not smooth. It almost appears that we need to take appointments to speak w staff. 8. Internet - there were several instances when there were internet outages in the building. To their credit, I have not experienced these recently, but they have happened and took a while to fix. Something to do with adjacent civil work that impacted infra into the building. The point is, when they happened, I had to go beg for updates. There was no sense of proactive remediation, transparent communication of issues, timelines, etc. 9. Power surges - might be an issue with just my unit but there was a time when every now and then the power would just go off due to a surge (not caused by me - I don't use any heavy duty appliances). After several occurrences, they had to make a pretty massive change at the back end. 10. Courtyard Facing Units - these will deal with all sorts of issues from limited natural light, to noise coming through from movie nights/music/general chatter from visitors. Once in a while, have heard loud deafening music from there early AM which no one could seem to control."
"Living in this community at cobalt lofts has uplifted my definition of community. I’ve always known what it means to be a good citizen, a good neighbor, a person of dignity and respect for others. I’ve always known how to live amongst people. **Respectfully of the rules. This is a growing community and when things are growing sometimes there are shifts, ups and downs. But when you have the right people as we do, living in Cobalt, and a team of professionals managing our home, who are people of respect just like the tenants/ themselves, you are lucky. We wouldn’t have it any other way. I give this review five stars because I believe in what I’ve said. Cobalt is a beautiful place in many ways. The biggest way of all for me is that I call it HOME. **You are welcome here. ❤️"
