"Bought a generator as a gift to a friend who had lent me one after recent storms. Mobile Distributor Supply shipped it with Old Dominion. After neither website showed shipping info after 8 days OD called me to schedule delivery. After being disappointed that they could not drive a full trailer down my street asked I be home on the next day, Thursday, Day 9, between noon and 4, I was, no show. Forgot to f/u Friday until 830PM. Neither “customer service” was open for the weekend? Called Edison NJ depot, they apologized as error left my box on the dock, would have to wait until Monday afternoon. Tried calling today, Saturday, the phone just rings and rings until it disconnects. I was willing to drive ther and pick it up! Tonight’s dinner to present the gift is a joke, as is a delivery from Memphis to Berkeley Heights New Jersey taking 13 days. Both companies are working as it was 1973!"
