"It wasn’t a familiar number that popped up on my phone. Just by happenstance, I answered the day that Lou called me. However, in hindsight, it appears that it must have been divine intervention… I had been comparison shopping for auto insurance and was worn out from filing out repeated requests for online quotes to no avail and/or calling and spending hours tailoring a quote for the coverage I wanted. Each quote I got was just as pricey as the next, and equally annoying to complete. So, when Lou called, asking if I would like him to do a comparison quote with State Farm, I figured that I had nothing to lose. During our discussion, Lou kept things simple and was refreshingly honest. He didn’t try to “upsell” me insurance that I didn’t need or want. Rather, he ascertained what I really wanted, explained the aspects of coverage, and even told me about additional ways to get more savings. For example, despite all the online and phone quotes that I did with competitive companies no one ever explained what the “defensive driving course” was. I thought it was referring to people that had a court mandated driving class. Lou was the only person that clarified what it was and how it could be helpful to me. In the end, Lou gave me an overall price, which was on par with the other quotes I got. So, I decided that since I was giving Lou my time, I should challenge him. I asked if he could give me a policy that came in at my budget, but didn’t sacrifice coverage in critical areas. I was ecstatic when he managed to do it! After talking to Lou, I felt good about the auto insurance policy we crafted and the frank conversation we had in order to get to that point. I was even happier to find out that Lou would be my point person at State Farm for the life of my policy. I wouldn’t have to go through the headache of having to wait on hold for someone to help me and having to repeat myself and explain the situation to a new person every time I called. (Note: it took me 32 minutes on HOLD before I could speak with someone to cancel my previous policy– and this was at 11pm at night, after the automated system told me that my hold time would be approximately one minute!) Lou kept things short and still managed to check all the boxes in what I was looking for in an auto insurance policy. I was so pleased with how Lou helped me that I immediately recommended him to family and friends. So far, he’s saved everyone that I sent him a substantial amount of money (thousands of $$ at this point) with their insurance needs. I continue to happily recommend Lou to anyone that can potentially save money after having a short conversation with him. Needless to say, I’m glad I answered the phone that day because I haven’t turned back since."
