I went to new york, philadelphia on my free time since both are really close. It was really fun and I met some really good people. I definitely recommend here to everyone!"

"Being a J1 student from Malaysia, staying at Work and Travel Lodge has overall been a pleasant experience throughout the summer. Prior to starting work in Ocean Casino Resort, the owner George welcomed us warmly and brought us to Philadelphia to try out different famous Cheesesteaks. There were many activities organised by the lodge, such as BBQ, pizza party, and a day trip to Washington DC. The lodge itself presents a lot of socialising and cultural exchange opportunities, with common areas like fully equipped kitchen, cozy balcony, as well as gaming console and pool table in the living room. Maria and Abdou, who work at the lodge, are very friendly and always help with any housing-related issues that arise. The room we stayed in had debris falling off the ceiling initially, but it was sorted out fairly quickly after raising the concern with the home owner George. At the back of the property lies a small fenced parking lot for the bikes which is always under surveillance. I strongly recommend future students who stay here to get a bike to explore more places in and nearby Atlantic City, though you can do that by taking a bus as well. "I’m J1 student coming for Work and Travel Program. I’m from Malaysia. I worked at the Ocean Casino Resort. The Atlantic City Boardwalk is a standout feature. It’s a bustling promenade where you can stroll, shop, dine, and enjoy the ocean views. The beach is also clean and inviting, perfect for relaxation. My three-month stay at Work & Travel Lodge was a decent experience. The staff was friendly and generally responsive to my needs, making me feel welcomed during my stay. This experience has been truly enriching, and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to George, the owner, and Abdoul, our housing manager. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby amenities, making it suitable for students and travelers alike."

What I love about the Lodge is it feels likes home and the Staff are very hospitable. They also Host a lot of activities for us like Welcome BBQ party, Washington Dc trip, Philadelphia, New York, Ocean City and etc. Because of the Work and Travel Lodge I got the chance to have a wonderful stay in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The host- George is an awesome guy who drove us around the city, even to Philadelphia for a short day-trip. Every once in a while the lodge would have small parties and activities. Everyone here is lovely and kind. They have been so understanding even when I’m facing some issues. I feel safe and welcoming living here in the past 3 months. And I’m so glad that I choose here"
