"I come here for the high quality natural and organic wines. Given the size of their collection, I presume others do the same. But I can NOT for the life of me figure out why on earth they feel the need to drown the entire store in toxic synthetic fragrances. The saccharine odor slaps you in the face the minute you walk in the door, but it doesn’t stop there— no your very clothes will reek to high heavens for days after. The merchandise itself is also corrupted. We literally leave our wine bottles outside bc of the odor, and even after washing the entire bottle with dish soap in the sink it STILL smells. Synthetic fragrances are usually made of toxic endocrine disrupting chemicals that mess with your hormones and cause irritation in many people. The fact that this has never been mentioned goes to show how smell polluted the environments of most people are. The conclusion is this: your store does not need to smell like a second rate perfumery in order to attract customers. Let the wine speak for itself. Otherwise next time I will return in a poncho and a gas mask."
