Legal Services of the Hudson Valley

Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, located at 60 Erie Street in Goshen, New York, is dedicated to providing free, high-quality civil legal services to poor and low-income individuals and families in seven counties of the Hudson Valley region. Our experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff take a holistic approach to ensure that our clients receive the advice, counsel, and representation they need during challenging times. Whether it's a job loss, illness diagnosis, or unfair denial of benefits, we are here to help navigate the legal system and fight for equal justice for all.

We are committed to race equity and actively work towards dismantling systemic racism in our communities. Our services are available to all individuals in need, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender. In 2021, we handled over 11,000 cases and impacted over 27,000 individuals across various practice areas. Our offices are located in White Plains, Yonkers, Mt. Vernon, Peekskill, Poughkeepsie, New Windsor, Nanuet, and Monticello to better serve the Hudson Valley region.
