Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Parsippany

"BED BUGS. I went with a large group of people to this place and there was one person that somehow found a bedbug in the bathtub and double checked online to see what it was. After that, we checked the bed just a little bit. Pulled back the mattress a smidge and BAM, a whole disgusting nest of them. We tried to get a different room, and again, we found bed bugs the same way. It's disgusting. How does room service not see this when changing the sheets? Or do they just not care? Never again. Also the place is a wreck. In my room, the bathroom door would not close, as the door hinge was broken off and the door itself was busted."

"Room was great- clean and spacious when I arrived. Front desk staff was very helpful. Housekeeping was not so great but not a major issue. Stay away from the breakfast, had terrible food poisoning and needed to call out of work for the day."

"Breakfast choices are OK however the food could have been hotter and the prepackaged english muffin sandwiches also need to be hotter. Near the end of the breakfast closing the trash was overflowing and the lid was on the floor."

"It was literally a spare of the moment booking because we could not get to the other hotel that we had booked because of the flooding so we couldn’t drive around it and I called the other hotel and let them know I couldn’t get there they canceled with no penalty and then I booked with you guys and I was able to get an early check-in so I was completely happy about that. And as a night auditor myself and Just working with Marriott for six years straight now I know how it is in the morning when people are trying to get an early check-in and we don’t have the room available but you guys were able to make that possible for me."

"As mentioned by other reviewers, the carpet in the elevator stinks. By informing front desk they were quite nicely rude about it saying we will look into it. The smell from the elevator literally gave me a headache and the great attitude front desk people has I don’t know why. How do I contact Bonvoy to report this behavior? Update: Wifi doesn’t work on the phone. Front desk mentioned that they will send someone to the room to look into it. No one came so far. I see customer service replying everyone to give them a better chance, I am writing this review in 1st hour of check-in. Let’s see how can you make my current stay better. I am open to having 1-1 conversation with the customer service rep if they are on-site."
