"I consulted Mr. Justin Gilman for advice about my situation, He advised me to go on with bankruptcy but I decided to hold on for few more months to try loan modification (on my own) which it was approved Thank GOD. I paid this lawyer $1000 towards bankruptcy filing which he asked for 3k. Since I’m not going to file for bankruptcy I should get my $1000 back minus his one hour consultation fee which was $400. So He suppose to refund me $600. Guess what? He said NO REFUND! I asked why? He said because I opened a “file” for you. What file? I said , I did NOT send you any documents and you did NOT process anything for me AT ALL. I’m entitled for 600$ refund don’t you think ??? What If I paid 3k then I changed my mind and did not proceed with bankruptcy. Will I get my money back or not ? After posting this review elsewhere Mr.Gilman asked me to call him to RESOLVE this matter. I called him but he had no intention to refund any Money. So I told him why did u asked me to call? He said because I needed to respond to your Review. Wow . Then he refused to refund any amount from my $600. Then he said we didn’t know that you are doing loan modification until October 27/2023. I said EXACTLY because your firm did NOT follow up with me AT ALL since my first meeting 7 month ago. He said no they called you 3 or 4 times. I said yes you are right, they called me just to ask for more MONEY. But no one called to ask for any documents regarding my case. Any way this is my final message to you Mr. Gilman if I don’t get my 600$ refund by 12/31/2023 I will escalate this matter to the next level"
