"Unfortunately I have had the most unprofessional experience with this firm. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was referred by a person I hold in high regards to reach out to this firm for their expertise. I was told Attorney Cartie was not available and given contact information for Attorney Roberts who made an appointment with me, NEVER kept the appointment, NEVER returned any of my calls or NEVER responded to any of my messages or texts and this was for days!! A simple professional 5 second response would have been appreciated at the very minimum to apologize for not keeping the appointment and say you could not assist. I was extremely understanding in my messages. On top of that the person who answers the line for Carrie’s office female now sends my calls directly to voicemail. Truly unprofessional and disrespectful. Not a great way to represent a business that’s handles difficult situations and where you expect sympathy and genuine support. I left messages on that line to follow up with her on her attempt to contact Attorney Roberts and see why he was not responding or returning my calls. Sadly and very disappointingly this all occurred before I was even able to have a consultation. In my opinion if this is how you’re treated in the beginning being ignored and lied to, to the point of feeling disrespected… how would the actual situation be if I would have retain their assistance. Although extremely disappointed in my experience it worked out because working with them as uncaring and unprofessional in serious matters such as mines would have made matters more difficult, complicated and stressful. I would never recommend working with them to any of my family, friends or colleagues. Thank you for all the added stress Attorney Roberts and person who directly answers the phone for Mr. Cartie’s office for being extremely rude. I hope either of you are never treated the way you treated me. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I hope my experience gives insight and food for thought. I would not want anyone who is obviously in need of expert assistance to go thru what I went thru especially when time is of the essence. ……….@12:27pm 9/11/2023 I received a call from attorney Carty office same front desk female representative now trying to provide response, update and or advice (which is no longer welcome from them) the ratings of this office went from a 5 to 4.2 now you want to follow up on my several attempts of contact and after sending me directly to voicemail at least 4xs…. Very the lack of true and genuine care is truly crazy for lack of a better term. Ms. Deborah you should have started with a genuine apology. Perfect example of how it’s all about money… it should be about ‘People and Money’. SMH."
