"I consulted this lawyer for advice about my situation, He advised me to go on with bankruptcy but I decided to hold on for few more months to try loan modification (on my own) which it was approved Thank GOD. I paid this lawyer $1000 towards bankruptcy filing which he asked for 3k. Since I’m not going to file for bankruptcy I should get my $1000 back minus his one hour consultation fee which was $400. So He suppose to refund me $600. Guess what? He said NO REFUND! I asked why? He said because I opened a “file” for you. What file? I said , I did NOT send you any documents and you did NOT process anything for me AT ALL. I’m entitled for 600$ refund don’t you think ???
