"My experience with Diaspora law firm was not great at all! I ask everyone who is looking for a immigration lawyer, to please do your research take your time and find someone who knows what they are doing. My mother was working with this law firm for many years regarding her immigration statues. It took many years for my mom to have an appointment with immigration. There was so much miscommunication. To make the story short, my moms case was pass around from lawyer to lawyer for many years. If none of the lawyers where qualifying to take such a case they should've had mention it now allow her case to go any further. But instead they give her so many lawyers and none of them new what they were doing. At the end my mother had an immigration interview in her home country and when she met the immigration officer she was denied! the immigration officer explain to her that her lawyers didn't do a good job, they filed the paperwork incorrectly and didn't send her with the correct papers. They didn't update any of the files. Didn't make payments to certain application ect. They just told my mother basically you have an interview go back to your home country and good luck. No further information. My mom now is back in her country after 24 yrs of being in the USA. We went back to the law firm and ask for advised to see if some thing can be done. A female lawyer advised the case was to much and nothing they can do. Handed over the paperwork(files ) and said she no longer wanted and could take the case. To me that's super unprofessional and irresponsible. They have cash the checks and receive all this money for nothing. Now we have my mom back to her home country with no notion on what's going on, alone and she is an elderly person .
