"Do not use Ben Cooper. We recently used him for a very simple purchase of a condo. After inspection, he would not talk to the other side about fixing some issues, told us and our real estate broker to work it out with the other side ourselves. At the closing, he charged us an extra fee in addition to his quoted retainer and could not explain what the extra fee was for. We walked away from the closing wishing we had used the other side’s attorney. We didn’t have any representation at the closing but it was too late to change attorneys at that point. After the closing, he did not provide the title and deed, we had to continually push him for it. Do not use him, there are so many other attorneys available."
