"Amazing scenery for fall season. Actually, this park is beautiful in different way in every season. There are petal boat, swimming pool and zoo for the summer. Foliage for fall. Ice skating for the winter."

"Decent hike to the top. Staff were very friendly. The trail isn't as clean as you'd like, unfortunately there was some litter strewn about. The peak had a great view--you can even see the NYC skyline at a distance."

"If going to the Bear Mountain Peak, take the Major Welch Trail to the top cause the Appalachian trail is long and only has steps which get really boring if hiking up. Coming down from here is quick and easy."

"Picturesque and beautiful trail. It is possible to rise even without good physical health. There are many tourists with children and dogs on the trail."
