"The store is good, they have a variety of healthy foods. Not very organized, too dark, sometimes shelves are messy. Cashiers are not friendly."

"Really like this particular Whole Foods store because it's one of the last traditional Whole Food stores, pretty much unaffected by the Amazon acquisition. So many of the other stores have become fulfillment sites, lost that sense of warmth and welcome that was once felt, and it's palpable. Hope this never happens to this last Whole Foods market in Ridgewood, New Jersey"

"Customer service is horrible. I was hoping to get a toy for my child, but what seemed like a simple problem turned into a chaotic situation as all the employees frantically searched for the price tag of the toy. They wanted to charge me over $20 for a small toy that should’ve been $16.99 from looking up the actual toy company that sells it. They charged it over $20 from scanning a whole different toy that wasn’t even related to the toy I wanted for my child. How is that reasonable? I informed them of the price check I discovered from the company it is affiliated with, which informed me that they were unable to charge me that amount and recommended purchasing it from the so-called company. On certain occasions, individuals can display impoliteness and outright meanness. Any of the employees could have easily resolved the situation and offered a fair price for it. At times, individuals ought to demonstrate a touch of compassion instead of opting for self-centeredness. I truly hope they change the way they treat their customers. It is not the right thing to do when it comes down to customer service."

"Although it's a smaller store than some other Whole Foods locations, it's got plenty of choices. Employees are super friendly and responaive. I think corporate can do a better job integrating the Amazon packages services so as to minimize logjams. For instance, creating a dedicated receiving section accessible from outside would make it easier on employees and customers on the inside. Parking at this WF can be an absolute nightmare at times and hence why I knock a star. Most people hunt for a parking spot in the front lot and that backs up Godwin at rush hour. It has more to do with the customers going there (or not going there and just using that parking to go to the Yoga studio across the street) than the store itself. That said, the store could enforce it's store policy by towing non customers who aren't actually shopping there."

"This smaller older whole foods market tucked into downtown Ridgewood has organic produce beautifully displayed, fresh and frozen seafood, a butcher, deli, bakery, cheese dept, hot prepared foods, sushi and salad bar, and a friendly little Allegro coffee bar (an alternative to Starbucks). There is an attached Whole Body shop with supplements, soaps, lotions, organic cotton clothing, and related specialty items. There is an Amazon locker where you can choose to have your Amazon orders delivered (not groceries!), and there are some items each week that are an extra 10% off for Amazon prime members."
