"Hours are amazing. Place is clean. My problem is outside the store... The parking lot is a mess. People stop randomly and sit or leave their car in non-parking spots along the one way entrance. There is nowhere to return your cart so they just float and roll all over crashing into cars."

"I was approached by security stating i look suspicious. Wanted to check my purse for items. Was going to the store for years they showed me they don’t appreciate my business."

"Today I was shopping at Evergreen. I used to really enjoy shopping here. But one day their cashier cheated me. It was unpleasant. And today the huge guy at the exit wanted to look at my receipt. If I had known that he would then begin to unceremoniously pick through my purchases, I would have refused to show him my receipt. He acted like he was a cop and I was a thief who stole something from a store. Why did he think I would like it? Other customers passed by, but for some reason he chose me. When I asked him the reason, he said that my purchases were not packaged in branded bags. Is this really a reason to suspect me of stealing?? I felt terribly humiliated. When I left the store, he stopped another store employee passing by and said something to him, pointing his finger at me and laughing. This was the last straw. I went back to the store and returned everything I bought to them. There are other kosher stores in the area, and some of them have lower prices. I spent my hard earned money in another store. When I got home, I asked Google a question about how legitimate such humiliating checks are. It turns out that a store employee can ask me to show a receipt, but I am not required to do so. He needs a good reason to stop me, otherwise he will be in trouble with the justice system. I have no desire to shop at Evergreen anymore. And now not a single boor in any store will stop me anymore. Now I know my rights."

"Im not Jewish, needed to pick out Kosher deserts for a client meeting. Mrs Rubenstien helped me make sure what I bought would be allowed to eat. She was so kind and helpful. Amazing staff, great selection, thank you again"

"2 years ago I would definitely give a 5 star. Reason being is that they raised their prices on fruits and vegetables with 70% across the board For example parsnip $3.49 elsewhere 1.99 turnip 1.99 elsewhere. 99... im not sure why think they are whole foods?? Definitely not a community grocery experience.. try shopping at Rockland kosher much better prices on everyday healthy item's.. maybe on chocolate and junk they are more expensive. But you can survive without it Check it out your self you'll be shocked... Here's is an update on the meat department. Prices went up 20% לכבוד יום טוב And best of all the steaks are brown crapp pieces Here's an update 3/29/2023 Be careful with your passover shopping. Evergreen will buy from companies large quantities after passover for 10 cents on the dollar and sell it the following year.. this can be with matzos.. chocolate. Potato starch. Etc. See the pictures below"
