He was a very good listener, patient with a novice like me, and he knew what he was talking about. He was not highly opinionated, did not take advantage of my ignorance, but he truly wanted me to learn enough so that I could make my own decisions. What a delight."

"We were first introduced to Dykes Lumber by Del & Paul coming to our home to measure doors for the whole house and give us an estimate. They both were very pleasant and professional, as well as extremely helpful. Once we received the estimate, Del suggested what doors would be best for us and we picked out the hardware. He gave us a starting date, the time of arrival of his crew, and the approximate date of completion. All were exactly as promised. We were so amazed at how wonderful the entire staff was from the day of delivery until the day of completion. The workers assigned to our project, Joel & Matt were phenomenal, knowledgeable, very pleasant, and extremely neat workers. They were without a doubt one of the best workers we have ever dealt with. Dave, Paul and Del monitored the entire project and made sure all promised work was being completed. We would highly recommend this company and we are thrilled with the finished product.
