"This was honestly the first time I've ever visited a dental practice and not felt frustration, shame, and discouragement. Everyone in the practice is friendly, compassionate, and understanding. I had my annual cleaning with Patricia, and she is everything you want a dental hygienist to be - knowledgeable, caring, and gentle. Ana is also warm and friendly. She popped in to help with 3D impressions for a night guard, and then I saw her again at a follow-up with the peridontist. Dr. Samuelian was wonderful. He explained work I need to have done (replacing crowns, for instance), but also laid out what the priorities are. Dr. Castano is also great. I have to have a minor procedure on my gums where a wisdom tooth once was, and while it's something that I do need to do sooner rather than later, he understood that due to overseas travel, I can't do this right away and explained how to manage the issue until I'm back in the country. After years of being scolded, disregarded, and even harassed at various dental offices, this was the first time I left an appointment feeling relief. In fact, when I had to go back for the follow-up with Dr. Castano, it was the first time I didn't have a sense of overwhelming anxiety walking through the door. I'm so glad I found Gotham Dental. I only wish I'd found them sooner!"
