As you can see from the photos, Keziah and Jenever did not fail to deliver. My bridal party looked gorgeous and I truly felt stunning. It was the best day of my life and TKL was a large part of that. Book them, you won’t regret it. PS - I forgot to mention, because I’m located in Vermont and Keziah was in New Jersey at the time, I did NOT do a makeup trial. Yes, I booked a hair and makeup company and did not test them out first. That is how much I trusted TKL and it paid off in dividends."

"I found TheKeyLook LLC on the knot. What made me want to work with them was the diversity of the women showcased in their social media because every time I searched for wedding hair stylists- not trying to be rude but I kept seeing the same women, the same types of hairstyles, the same kind of hair. And all my bridal party was basically united nations LOL. They each have such different hair types including me and my MOH who have curly hair- I become hesitant to find good people at their skill who know how to handle AND style curly hair. I received a phone consultation with Keziah and loved her knowledge within the wedding hair & makeup industry. She was incredibly detailed about how their services are- what I’d need as a bride and then some! She was so reassuring of what would happen the day of and helped me move around some schedules as to whom needed to be first in getting hair & makeup done etc. I went ahead with the hair preview with Ebone. I felt so relaxed that it felt like I was talking to friends doing my hair. My vision was to showcase my natural curls but have a braid incorporated because I love texture. And yeah- Ebone had her thinking cap on and started mentioning styles and got to work. The final result I fell in love with the style she came up with! The wedding day came- and towards the end of it- it started becoming a little hectic once my mom got involved but they were kind enough to do the flower girls hair as well! Thank you for making those girls feel a little more special and pretty with their hair done. I just always give credit for those who can handle my mom’s feistiness. I wish I had more pictures but these were the best ones I could find! I can’t thank the hair team enough Ebone and Stephanie for doing such a great job with my girls and the other people involved in the bridal party! I can tell from what the girls wanted with their hair they did such a good job making their idea come to life and making sure the hair stayed ALL day and night! The whole vibe in the morning felt so easy and chill with both the makeup and hair team with my bridal party just chatting and listening to music and eating all morning. I felt stress free the whole time and cannot recommend them enough! Keziah followed up periodically to make sure if I had any questions for her or anything I can possibly think of and also checked up on me towards the big day. They made this whole process painless and just easy for me to be like “okay- they know what they’re doing. I don’t need to think twice about worrying. They got this.” And that’s all you can ask for as a bride on her wedding day! :) I would love to use their service again for future parties or special events!"

"This review is long over due! I got married October 22, 2022 and am still ranting and raving about how amazing Keziah and her team are. Their work is exceptional! I found the key look on The Knot. I later realized they had an instagram and quickly hit the follow button. After seeing their work I knew I needed to reach out. I knew I wanted to work with The Key Look when I went to my makeup trial. My hair is not easily tamed. It’s thick and I have lots of it! Jenever was so quick and delicate while combing my hair. I didn’t actually realize she was done until my mom got up to say how stunning her work had turned out. This was a huge plus for me because I’m not a fan of rough hairdressers. Keziah blew my mind with my makeup. I was so thrilled with how I looked, I quickly made plans for dinner to show off her work. I also loved how our personalities clicked instantly. It was such a fun trial. That energy was carried over to my wedding day. My instinct to book The Key Look was confirmed when I opened my hotel room door on the morning of my wedding! These ladies came in with soooo much energy and set the tone for myself and my bridal party for the rest of the day! Keziah made it clear she would have us on a tight schedule. But to see her actually execute prompt timing with 10 people getting hair and makeup done was absolutely mind blowing! Every single member of my bridal party was in love with their look. From the low elegant ponytails to the amazing makeup, they all looked so beautiful. I am still obsessed with how my hair turned out on the day of! Jenever is a magician! I was at a loss for words when I saw my hair ! Keziah! You are amazing! You truly had me glowing! The makeup was so beautiful and flawless. You and your team truly had me feeling like a queen! You have no idea how devastated I was to have to wash my face lol. From the look on my husbands face when I finally made it down the aisle, I can tell he was very pleased with the results as well. It has been such a pleasure keeping in contact with Keziah even post wedding! She is someone I will not hesitate to work with again in the future!
