"I didn’t want to post a review but a friend talked me into it and told me I should share my experience. I had my services done by Taylor and I absolutely loved her & my hair the first time I went in. This past time I had gone in, January 7th,2021 I went back in to get a touch up. Taylor had put the foils in my hair and left me under the dryer to process. While I was processing, she took another client and stared an all over color for them. First, I was under the impression that during the pandemic salons & stylists were only supposed to be taking one client at a time, and second I feel as though it’s unprofessional to be taking multiple clients on at once especially since I had made an appointment & I had bleach in my hair and that needs to be checked very frequently. I was under the dryer for quite some time and Taylor did not check on me, another girl working that day had come over and checked on my hair. That girl then went over to Taylor and started whispering in her ear and the girl and a second girl came over and hurriedly started pulling the foils out of my hair. At the time, I really did not think anything of it, especially since they did not seem to be acting weird or like anything was wrong. One of the girls washed my hair and then Taylor finished my service up with a toner and blow drying my hair. My hair looked amazing when I left, but within a few days when I washed my hair and did not blow dry, I started to noticed all the breakage around the top of my head. The entire top layer of my hair is so fried to the point it looks like someone haphazardly chopped my hair off. After 2 washes is when I also started to notice the uneven blonde tones throughout the hair, the toner had completely come out of my hair by the second wash when a salon grade toner should last way longer than 2 washes and did the first time I had gotten my hair done. I’m more concerned and upset with the fact I have so much breakage in my hair that I could not hide, and ultimately had to dye my hair back to a brown color to hide/restore some of the health in my hair."

"Just returned home from Chroma Beauty Bar, which never fails to impress. If you are someone who relies heavily upon the reviews of others to choose your best products and services then please hear me when I say that this salon in Hammonton, NJ is absolutely fantastic. My experience is with Taylor. She gives me all over highlights to camouflage the greys that are slowly sneaking in. What she delivers is an awesome cut and gorgeous color that leaves me giddy everytime. Her cuts are really good, but she is just so gifted at hair color. Do yourself a favor. Treat yourself to an appointment with Taylor at Chroma Beauty Bar in Hammonton, NJ. I am fortunate enough to live in close proximity, but the experience and service would be worth every single mile driven."

"First and foremost ask for Taylor. I have never had a formal haircut nor had I ever colored my hair before. I am beginning to get grays and my natural blonde was becoming dull and ash colored. I was scared to death of bad results, and didn't know where to go. 5 star reviews of both Chroma Beauty Bar and Taylor led me to this amazing experience. My hair looks and feels amazing. She only put in a few foils as i didn't want or need to color my whole head. It blends so well with my natural color. I could just die. Notice it matches my natural eyebrows EXACTLY! She has a client forever as long as I live in Jersey."

"Was recently there for wedding hair and makeup. Norma was AMAZING with my hair and worked quickly. Taylor did my makeup and the application was amazing, plus she was so sweet. The only downside about this place is the quality makeup they use. They used drugstore makeup on me which is insane for the price they charged. They used 4 dollar mascara from maybelline when I personally only buy and use high end makeup. For the service I was having done I expected much better quality in the product. I would recommend this place for hair but not for makeup unless they invested in the right products."

"I've been coming to Chroma for a while now. Taylor does my hair which consist of getting it to blonde. She was honest up front with telling me if we did it all in one sitting my hair will be damaged. We have done there seasons already and will be doing a fourth. She has also cut, style and thinned my hair. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a little small but not clusterphobic like. Its cute. I would recommend Chroma and Taylor for your hair needs"
