"I usually don’t write reviews but this dentist office is extremely unethical. I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I asked if they were in network with my insurance, which they said yes but I would be charged about $2000 for a root canal and about $200 for xrays because I had already went for my annual check up and my insurance did not cover any other visits, this sounded ridiculous to me so I called my insurance to verify and I was told that the information the receptionist gave me was wrong because I have set billing prices and my insurance does in fact cover most of the root canal and my only out of pocket charge would be $150 (root canal) and $30 for the X-rays which is a really big difference from what the receptionist said. I am sure that they do this to other people and they should be ashamed of themselves, taking advantage of people or at least trying to is disgusting. Please call your insurance before going here."

"I have been going to this dentist for about two years now and yesterday I had a follow up appointment and it was such a disappointing visit. It all started with the girl in the front desk who was rude for sending me to sit down without even knowing who I was and without letting me finish what I was asking her. Then, I expressed my concerns to Dr. Platt and his only worry what to tell me I need a root canal. I asked if there is any treatment I could be doing in the meantime than getting a root canal worth more than 3,000 (money I do not have) and his response was very dismissive. I am not going back to this doctor again."

"Dr. Platt charged me $80 extra claiming to do scaling and planing on my bottom teeth, even though he only cleaned for a couple of minutes. Didn't inform me at all that there were any issues, even said my x-rays looked good. The assistant couldn't even give me a clear answer when asked why I was getting charged extra ("for extra tartar or something"). When I brought it up with him, he lied and said he spent about 4 minutes on my top teeth and 20 minutes on my bottom teeth. "I'm not going to argue with you about whether or not I did my job." Good thing technology exists because I checked my phone time stamps and had messaged my boyfriend when I was about to be seen and when I came out. 3:26pm to 3:49pm. That's 23 minutes for the ENTIRE visit, including him taking time at the start to check my x-rays, then fiddle with his headlamp tool for a couple of minutes to get it untangled, and then getting my teeth polished by the dental assistant after he left the room! She spent more time in my mouth than he did! I wasn't going to leave a review, but I really don't like it when professionals lie to people and take advantage of them."

"First off, the office staff is incredibly unprofessional. They shout at each other from room to room while they are working on patients. You’ll be lying there and they’ll be screaming back and forth to each other important information and yelling at each other about stuff. Second, the facility is disgusting, look closely and you’ll see the grime on the equipment that hasn’t been cleaned. Last, they are shady about their business practices. They ran a loan application for me using the social I provided for them on intake WITHOUT my knowledge or permission! It wasn’t until I got home and got an email that there had been a hard inquiry on my credit report that I realized they had tried to get me to take out a loan before I agreed to the procedure and had a chance to get a second opinion. They claimed I needed a root canal and crown for over $6000! When I questioned whether the procedure was necessary he tried to scare me into saying yes on the spot. I researched online when I got home and learned this procedure should cost between 1,000-2,500 on the high end depending on the dentist. Guess I know why they were pushing so hard for me to agree to the procedure and loan on the spot, the knew the second I had a chance to ask around their gig would be up. I already found a dentist who will do it a fraction of the price in a much nicer facility."
