"Well first, when you walk in, you are greeted warmly with hellos! The spa is elegantly decorated with chandeliers and just oh so pretty and so clean. (I am older, more fussy so cleanliness is important to me.) You are immediately invited to pick your colors and have a seat. The whole staff, from receptionist to nail technicians, all are so sweet. I received a mani/pedi. I had 2 different nail technicians, each was superb in their field. First my mani. I find it hard to relax when getting a mani because they press too hard to remove old color but she was gentle - without me having to say anything. She was very precise and diligent about have clean lines for my manicure. Finished off with a firm massage that I couldn't fight and succumbed to a blissful state of relaxation. My nails, what nails? Lol The mini massage was a slice of heaven, my nails were beautiful. Second, my pedicure. Again, I find it difficult to relax. I have painful ingrown toe nails. Plus, I am ticklish. So I tend to tense up. Seated on a comfortable bench adorn with beautiful pillows. Greeted warmly again. Submerge your tired feet into warm water... ahhh. Then she confirmes the color you chose and she gets to work. We all know the massage is the best part and it was! They also use hot rocks... so good! She too, was very diligent and attentive to every detail. I told her she didn't have to be so meticulous because no one sees my toes. The response, "you do!" So sweet. It was the first time I thoroughly enjoyed, relaxed and felt pampered. I have my own beauty business, I sell SeneGence. So when I pose for product shots, my nails have to be on point! This is my new place! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Metropolitan Day Spa!"
