"My mother in law and my partner paid a visit to this dental office on December 6th to get a root canal procedure done, which on average takes about 45-1hr to complete . My mother in law has had two open knee surgery’s within the past 5 months and it is very difficult to stand up for very long periods of time without being seated due to swelling of the knee because it is still healing. During the procedure my mother in law had entered the room for her sons procedure for moral support and extra supervision during the procedure due to my partners doubts of how he was going to be treated during the procedure because of previous negative encounters with the dental facility’s staff . She was then greeted by one of the dental offices workers and was told she could not sit down in the seat . She began to explain that she cannot stand and needs to sit down due to her knee procedure . The medical staff then proceeded to give a very unprofessional response and attitude telling my mother in law she still can’t sit there and she would have to stand up if she wanted to be in the room . She completely dismissed my mother in laws concerns and Injury’s . The dental assistant then left the room and reported the issue to the dentist that was taking on my partners procedure for the day. The Dentist had then entered the room leaving a procedure in another room and. leaving that patient unattended then told my mother in law that she could not sit there as well with a very snarly attitude. This is highly unprofessional! Especially when this is the patients parent and she’s trying to provide moral support because of malpractice and maltreatment in the past . This could of have resulted in further injury’s or my mother in law falling and having further complications with her healing process because of the lack of care and concern this facility provided ."
