"I have never written a review in my life but this is worth reading to the end . Today I had an awful experience when calling the office to inquire about a second opinion on some current dental work that I was having and was unhappy with. This was the first work I had in over 5 years. I was told she had never heard of that request before and no dentist would touch someone else’s work which is confusing bc I wasn’t happy with it but I was ok with leaving it there and moving on somewhere else. As I was inquiring further about what to do I was told immediately…… well you left our office in 2018 and never came back so idk what to tell you….. I’m not exactly sure what that had to do with todays question but I was really taken back as a decision clearly was made before I had even began a question because I had not even provided my name to reception yet. It is true I left in 2018. I was getting dental work done in 2018 when I found out I was pregnant both excited and nervous I I had even told reception and we talked happy about it. It was a very difficult pregnancy and in 2019 I ended up having a full term still birth. No one that has buried a child knows what grief is attached to that feeling but the one thing I was certain of in 2018 was not going places and seeing people who knew me and my pregnancy . Talking about it was not something I prepared to do in any way. Having someone ask about the baby and how everything was was not something I was prepared to do then or now. I truly thought enough time had passed. So todays experience was not just a reminder about why I didn’t return but also maybe a little lesson in dignity and kindness. I didn’t have to share this because obviously she did not know that happened but it goes to show how your actions can impact people. Condescending behavior is never appropriate. This is a dental office and there are way more important things in life then that appointment and I was completely blown away. Everything happens for a reason And I’m awfully glad I didn’t return for more reasons then 1."

"So thankful to have found this office! I am not a fan of going to the dentist as I had a bad experience when I was younger, so I tend to avoid going in as long as I can. I know this is not good practice, but I try to make sure to take care of my teeth. COVID did not make me want to go to the dentist even more. I avoided going to the dentist since the beginning of that up to the past couple of months. Due to my fear and avoidance, my lack of dental care caused my crown to crack then break. I needed help and was so thankful for Dr. Roman Izmailov. He's the first dentist I've had in years who cared to ask me why I avoided the dentist and was kind enough to treat me with as little discomfort/pain as possible. I will definitely will continue to get my dental care from him. The office is not far from my home and they take my UFT insurance as well, which made the work I got done more affordable. I appreciate Dr. Izmailov and the Pomona office. Thanks again."
