"Shari Summers is an unethical dentist who fills healthy teeth. I took my children for second and third opinions after “Dr.” Summers diagnosed 6 cavities. The other dentists couldn’t find a single one. She was eager to permanently maim their adult teeth for profit. I have a dentist in the family who confidentiality told me that Shari Summers has a reputation in the area of unethical dentistry and that former assistants have considered lodging board complaints against her. Her office may claim that I’m not a patient, and that is true. My kids (who have a different last name) were. I waited more than 7 years to post this, as dental records only need to be kept for 7 years. My children don’t need backlash in the community from her or her office. She also over recommends general anesthesia/sedation. This exposes children to unnecessary risk and then will dentist shame parents who question her. If she or her office denies that she does these things - it would be a relief. If she was doing this knowingly it would be so much worse. Stay away."

"Dr Shari and her team are wonderful. I used to be a patient and now my kids are. They are warm and caring and kind and always do their best to get us an appointment that works with our schedule. The office is always impeccably clean and they are taking COVID precautions seriously and handling them well."

"Dentist shamed me as a parent and then told me she need to put my 3 yr old under anesthesia in her office for a procedure. She also put my 3 yr old (a sweet, calm little girl) in a restraint without warning or asking me. Be verg weary of any dentist willing to put a 3 yr old under in their office (and not a hospital)."

In addition to semi-annual preventative care, Dr. Shari has extracted teeth and filled cavities--all with the utmost care and gentleness. She has also recognized when there is a need to refer them to dental specialists for orthodontia and oral surgery."
