"This review is from an appointment that took place at the end of December 2022. I've been contemplating whether to post this review, but my friends and family advised me to share my experience with her practice. Frankly, it seems like she doesn't prioritize her patients' well-being. If you're seeking a cleaning, she does a decent job. In December, I visited with severe jaw pain that made it impossible to eat. My hope was to receive an x-ray for a more accurate diagnosis. However, she examined my face with her fingers and stated there was nothing she could do, then hurried me to find an oral surgeon. The challenge was that I couldn't speak properly due to my locked jaw. So, I spent nearly an hour crying in the parking lot and pleading with oral surgeons who couldn't comprehend me. Eventually, I went to urgent care, where they prescribed addictive and harmful painkillers because they had no other options. My doctor later couldn't understand why she didn't give me an x-ray and immediately referred me to an ears, nose, and throat doctor. They discovered a deep ear infection affecting my jaw, something a simple x-ray could have revealed. I've now gone almost a year without a cleaning because I'm terrified of seeing another dentist. I needed support, compassion, and genuine concern for my well-being, but they just rushed me out the door. On top of this, I missed my insurance payment that month due to my illness, leading to payment issues for an appointment where I received no help. I've reached out to Dr. Noreen Sheehan in writing to express my feelings and my efforts to resolve the issue by making affordable payments. However, I strongly advise anyone considering this dentistry to look elsewhere. They appear to prioritize profits over patient care and don't genuinely care about you as a person."

"Dr. Sheehan, and partner Dr. Hutchinson, have taken excellent care of my family for over 10 years! One of our extended family members even needed special care due to history of past trauma, and both doctors went out of their way to provide great care. We can highly recommend this office - the Drs. & staff are a delight in every manner."

"It's hard for me to trust dentists because I've had some less-than-efficient work done over the years. In addition, I am a cancer survivor that had radiation "therapy" for tonsil cancer. Unfortunately this has had a seriously negative impact on my teeth and gums. Despite my excellent at home care, my teeth and gums continue to deteriorate. When I came to my first appointment with Dr. Sheehan, I told her I felt comfortable - unfortunately today (after my second appointment which I waited 3 weeks to get) I walked out with a very different impression. I understand a dentist not being comfortable with caring for a patient - where the care requires skills beyond their ability -but it's another thing to allow a patient to walk out of the practice feeling like she's been negligent. It's the responsibility of any professional to provide support to everyone that walks through their door. Because a patient refuses to compromise their health by using a known toxin to improve their oral care does not give a dentist the right to basically blame a patient for their current condition. I've learned in life there are always options. My conclusion is that if you don't have anything major going on with your teeth and gums and you will subscribe to whatever a "professional" will tell you to do - because they don't know any other way, then this may be the practice for you. Very little effort is put forth to finding solutions to problems. I don't like giving less than stellar reviews, but if I wasn't a more knowledgeable person, I would have taken this behavior personally and would lose all faith in dentists. However, there's a holistic dental practice in Milburn that you should check out if you can afford their prices. The care and compassion is top notch."

"Dr Sheehan is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. It's the first time I have ever felt like the dentist had my best interests in mind and they weren't just looking to bill my insurance more. She has a very conservative approach and thoroughly explains everything. The desk staff was polite and knowledgeable and while her schedule is very busy they were very flexible in finding an appointment time that worked for me. I would highly recommend Dr Sheehan to anyone looking for a dentist who cares about her patients and does excellent work."
