"I’ve been coming to carmines for quite a few years now. By far the worst thing I’ve seen be done in a deli. I walked in and as I’m waiting in line, one of the co-owners/works walks pass the cold cuts & the turkey cold cut fell on the floor right in front of my eyes. Took a few second & it got picked up, and placed back in the fridge (away from the other cold cuts). It’s my turn in line & I order a small chicken soup & a turkey sandwich. As I’m waiting, I realized the turkey that was placed away from the other cold cuts, was not there anymore & they used the turkey that fell on the floor to make my sandwich. Unknowingly by the person who made my sandwich, however, the person who picked it up, did not say a word & choose to not speak up to let the coworkers know not to use that turkey. Unsanitary floor to then be served from what has fallen on that floor. Is honestly disgusting."

"If I could give this place more than a 5 I would. Came here for the first time for catering for my daughters 1st birthday and everyone fell in love with the food. Chicken Marsala is beyond amazing. I got exactly what I wanted and they had it ready for me at the time that I needed. Thank you for this amazing first time experience we will return. 10/10 recommend."

"You literally need to stop by!! it’s a must! i had the eggplant parm with penne a la vodka, delicious. Best one my husband and i EVER had. the cold sandwich’s are huge. everyone is so kind and you can tell they put love into their craft! 10/10 recommend!"

"I am new-ish to the neighborhood and I've always been meaning to come in, but my job works a little later and I've never been able to catch the restaurant during their hours. I came in yesterday and ordered a prosciutto mozzarella sun-dried tomato balsamic sandwich and I can tell you hands-down that I almost cried because it was so delicious. I went back to the counter and introduced myself and I met Carmine himself and he welcomed me to the neighborhood and said to come in anytime and then he'll take care of me and that he has anything I want in terms of home groceries. he asked if I liked lentil soup and he packed me a cup of soup to go. i'm coming back and I'm bringing all my friends. A class act and an example of what a great business should be!"
