"Metro Pizza is the hidden gem of Staten Island. The pizza here is absolutely incredible. The crust is perfectly crispy (can definitely tell it’s made daily), the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh. The staff are friendly and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend giving them a try, I know you will not be disappointed."

"I have been a long time customer and tonight ordered a Sicilian pie with no sauce on top, not that complicated right? The pizza gets delivered with sauce all over the top. I call to order another one and the driver asks me “why can’t you eat it?” Then the owner gets on the phone and is arguing with me that out of 80 tickets this was the only complaint while admitting g that there was sauce on top! Too much aggravation for a pizza. I am going elsewhere and advise you do the same !!"

"I'm not sure why I hadn't submitted a review before this... Metro Pizza is my favorite overall pizza shop on Staten Island! Always fresh and consistently tasty. My favorite is the deep dish buffalo chicken, but every slice or dish I've had has been good. Recently, they've added a Grandma square pizza (AKA sicilian) that is absolutely delicious! In the style of Brooklyn's Famous L&B Spumoni Gardens, they put the cheese down first, then the sauce, and top it off with fresh basil! The sauce is sweet and vibrant and not like any other sauce I've tasted... It is really good. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Also, this place is always busy so you can be sure that your pizza hasn't been sitting around for too long."
