"Used to love coming here. Mostly for the customer service. The staff was so on their game, knowledgeable, assisting and friendly. Not so much the case anymore. Some are still there but most seem indifferent to their job and could care less if you get what you are looking for. Definitely has gone down hill. This is from numerous visits."
"I went in to try on climbing shoes, which can be a bit daunting. Stephanie came to rescue, her knowledge of climbing shoes is impressive to say the least. She patiently pointed out the various features of several shoes, and could not have been more helpful. One thing I appreciate about REI is the excellent sales staff never pressure customers in order to make a sale. Really great store, plenty of parking and convenient location. Highly recommended."
"REI is amazing everywhere. I’ve been a member forever and have never had a bad experience. Recently picked out a pair of ski boots on REI online. When I brought them in to be fitted, Allen helped me. He convinced me I had the wrong boot for my skiing needs. I had the K2 Mindbender 130 and he recommended a Solomon 120. I was looking for a boot with BOA adjustment and both had that. The fit feels good. Allan is a true professional and has a wealth of knowledge. Ski equipment isn’t something you want to get wrong. By the way REI salespeople don’t work on commission and the recommended ski was less expensive."
"This REI is like a candy store for someone who enjoys the outdoors. Great selection, variety of brands, and some decent clearance offerings. The customer service is top notch. There are always employees roaming the store making sure no one is waiting for a fitting room, helpful staff in the boot area who are knowledgeable in the pros and cons of the boots on hand, and the checkout staff are friendly and helpful. Recently I had an issue with a return and the employee at the register called the sale manager over right away and helped me to resolve the issue within a few minutes. Their rewards program is an added perk with good perks. This REI location is top notch."
