"There’s no longer any debate. The Moran’s burger is the best burger in Hoboken. This delicacy is in many ways classic yet at the same time unique. There it sits with the beef patty topped with Irish bacon, a special sauce and onion strings, best pickle slice I’ve had and the fries on the side are also quality. It’s important to also note that the size of the Moran’s burger has not suffered in recent years as some of its counterparts in the area seem to have. Here, you get a FULL SIZED BURGER!!! Enjoy your burger with a Moran’s Special (a pint of Guinness and a shot of Irish whisky) for $10.. the menu is full with other tasty treats from the steak sandwich, nachos, wings, giant pretzel… I could go on but it’s hard to make a bad choice at Moran’s. As for the bar, it’s a traditional Irish pub style adorned with golf memorabilia. The owner is Irish so there’s no funny business here. Moran’s is my go to pub in Hoboken, no buts about it."

"Decided on a whim to try this place for dinner. The food was pretty good and the portions were great. It was pretty empty so we didn't wait for a table and the food didn't take long to come out. Prices are typical for a Hoboken pub-style restaurant. They also have Happy Hour drink specials during the weekdays until 7pm. Would definitely recommend for a casual night out."

"Great local Irish pub with surprisingly amazing food. Staff are all extremely friendly and location is right in the heart of Hoboken. Come here for a great glass of Guinness or any other beer for that matter. Cocktails to order are available and the wine on menu is fantastic too. Price is fair and place is always clean. Nothing bad to say about this one. Highly recommended."

"Best burger in Hoboken. My introduction to Moran's, dating back to September 2018, was the famous Moran's Burger with sweet potato wedges. I'll admit that it was a little much for me. Really good burger no doubt but between the irish bacon, truffle butter, and crispy onions, it was a bit of sensory overload. Didn't love the wedges, but gave em a shot because I typically love sweet potato fries. I've been back 5 or 6 times since I think, and I've elected for the BYO Burger. It's the best burger I've had in Hoboken and one of the better I've ever had. Bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, sometimes avocado, medium or medium rare depending on the day. It's a BIG burger with a generous portion of outstanding fries. If I had one complaint about the burger it would be that the bun is sometimes a little bready. But that's a nitpick. Moran's is a MUST TRY if you want a burger in Hoboken. They have a sign outside that says Best Burger in Hoboken, and I'm here to say it's a bonafide fact."

"The claim that this is the best burger in Hoboken could very well be true! This fantastic cheeseburger was fresh, juicy, cooked perfectly rare, with crispy bacon, onion ring strings, Irish cheddar cheese and fresh homemade ketchup. Lovely place with terrific service and great decor. I will definitely be back!"
