"I have never once had a issue with this Pharmacy until today, everyone has always been super nice. Came to pick up my medications post op after spinal surgery through the drive threw. Pharmacist was having issues entering in my Insurance information, &meds were still yet to be filled after my surgeon had called them in to my knowledge this am. The pharmacist was more concerenrd about the two cars behind us and them waiting. Told us to "pull back around because people are getting angry" If the people behind me needed their medications that hastily they could have gone inside to get them as im sure they were more body able to then I was. Being I was just discharged from the hospital I did not want to get stuck waiting behind other people and or having to come back as I am in a lot of pain. Unfortunately I now have to go back out to get my medications, when this could have be done while I was there and being "taken care of". Considering back to my old cvs pharmacy in Matawan as they are way more compatioate. Sick to my stomach over how I was treated after having a major surgery. (I am never one to complain and understand being busy and short staffed, i also understand that im just another face to you during the day but this does heavily effect me)"

"The actual CVS is a beautiful store and the people who work there are top notch. The pharmacy is a TOTALLY other story. Their Pharmacy Manager Elena M is rude, bitter and uncaring. I was there to pick up four prescriptions of a flu medication. My wife called prior to my arrival and it was confirmed that the prescriptions were ready. When I arrived at 2:53pm I was told that the orders were still in process. I then told Elena M. that my doctor had called again with a fourth prescription and left a message. She told me that she spoke to my doctor. After 45 minutes, I inquired if she listened to the message and she had not. She then listened and told me that she would process immediately. After being there an hour and twenty minutes and demanded to know why the medications were not ready and demanded that she finish them up. Elena M just looked at me. A half hour later she said the prescriptions were ready but was having difficulty with one prescription going through insurance. I told her we have been trying to fix that, but in the meantime, how much would it be with a coupon. She then smirked and said, "Oh you were aware of the problem". She then decided to give someone an immunization and told me I had to wait. To make a long story shorter, I wound up waiting over two hours for my prescriptions to be filled! FYI, while I was waiting, another woman, who was there earlier in the day and told to come back, was waiting for almost an hour when she finally said something to Elena M who then told her that they were out of the medication. I am removing all of my prescriptions from this pharmacy and would advise all of you to do the same! The only reason I am giving one star, is because I had to in order to post!"

"Almost everytime we go, there is an issue. I rarely complain as I am also in customer service. But at some point something needs to be said. The pharmacy rarely has basic antibiotics in stock or able to provide within an hour like amoxicillin. They are completely understaffed. The pharmacy closes for a half hour everyday for lunch. I can see this happening at a local mom and pop pharmacy but not a big retailer. Isn’t that one of the perks of going to a larger chain, for timely service? Drive thru closes early. Today I go to drop off a basic prescription for my child for strep. The lady who takes the prescription says to hold on so she can see if it is in stock. After about 10 mins of sitting at the drive thru she comes back and says it’ll be ready in an hour. I come back an hour later. Different lady at drive thru says hold on. After another 10 mins waiting she comes back and says it is not in stock. What?!? They said they called the CVS on Ryders Ln and route 18. Ok great? Did you ever think to actually call me when you found out it wasn’t in stock? So I’m wasting half a day to do this. I went right across the street to ShopRite. This is not the first time this has happened. The reason I go to cvs is for convenience. It is anything but that."

"At first they were great, but quickly went downhill. I'm always one to support local business, and never make my complaints public. But the experience I've had at this CVS the past few times I've been there is beyond belief. I was there twice and they were closed, around 4 pm. Why? The district manager pulled the staff from the pharmacy to a busier store that needed them. The next day when I had to return to get the prescription, I'm informed by the staff that the customers at the other location "must be more important." I understand it was meant as sarcastic, but there's no need to put that on the customer. Today, my daughter was vomiting nonstop. Her doctor gave me a script to stop the vomiting if she continues to be unable to keep liquid down. We go to CVS (with her holding a bucket throwing up) in my backseat. Drive thru is closed, fine. We walk inside (pouring rain btw), where she is still holding a bucket, sitting on the floor. The pharmacist informs me that maybe the prescription will be ready later that day, maybe tomorrow. I told her it was an emergency, could she please help, she sees my daughter right there. She informed me that "maybe CVS should give her better staffing". The technicians helping even said to her, can you please just expedite this, for clear reasons. Pharmacist said the same thing, as if me or my sick daughter had any control over CVS' staffing issues. the technicians there and even other customers supported what I was saying, and even voiced their opinion. But for some reason the Pharmacist needed to make a point (to I'm not sure who, her boss?) at the expense of my young daughter. The prescription was two individual pills. If it wasn't a clear emergency, then I would have had no issue returning the next day. Went to another CVS, who saw my daughter was sick and offered to expedite - despite being even busier. Called CVS corporate and asked to speak with whoever the district manager was, and got no response back."
