"Had a really great experience here. Went in to grab essentials after a recent storm. Though some of the power was out, the staff was doing an excellent job keeping the customers safe while shopping. They were doing a thorough deep clean of any of the refrigerated items and ensuring food safety and quality."

"Pretty decent shoprite, they’re not the best but they’re not the worst either, the outside does look a little bummy but other than that the store is great. They have a nice variety of products, the store was also very clean and everything was very easy to find so I definitely would come back again in the future. They also had a pretty good variety of sushi too which was awesome."

"I live within walking distance from this shop rite and over the past few years it has turned to the worst shopping experience. Cashiers are dirty, slow, unhelpful. Today my cashier was Karen and she was nosy and accused me of stealing. I will never go back to freehold shop rite when ALDIs is so close, clean, and less expensive!"

"This store sucks. Their prices aren't the worst but the store is just a mess. It's outdated and the isles are cramped. It's understaffed. The meat department is probably the worst thing about this place. All the packages are slimy. Products seem to be placed randomly and not together. For example, of you're looking for a certain pork product, maybe it's in the pork section, could be next to the chicken, could be anywhere, really. And sale items? Nah, they intentionally dont stock those. And if you ask a butcher they blow you off. It's either managerial incompetence or simply indifference. Considering how many reviews here complain about the meat department, I'd say it's corporate indifference since they haven't bothered to address it in years. But it is located in a great spot, which is probably the only reason it's still in business. Fact is, it really should be knocked down like the buildings on the other side of the lot. It's the only responsible thing to do. So then they respond to my review asking me to reach out to them, which I did. It's just an automated site that tried to sell me grocery delivery. Sometimes it's better to just leave the bad review and not make it worse. I'm embarrassed for them. But it definitely shows they have no interest in addressing the issues in this store."
