"I went to purchase my groceries. I attempted to use my EGift-Card that was given to me as a gift from a family member. I presented the card information (number, pin, barcode) to the cashier. The cashier had no idea what to do so she calls her manager over. Here comes Pauletta Bowman, I explain to her that I am trying to use my gift card and she says to me “we don’t accept that here.” I didn’t quite understand what she meant so I asked for clarity. She said the card isn’t valid. As I continued to show her the details of the card on my phone she told me to call corporate and walked away. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. So I called corporate to find out they are closed on the weekends. I did my own research on the spot and came across all the detailed information regarding E-gift Cards on the Stop & Shop website. Everything on the website pointed to there being no limitations on how the card can be used. After waiting 10 minutes for the manager to come back over to assist me, I explained to her the facts that are stated on the website. She still told me the card was not valid and it cannot be used in this store’s location. I wound up having to pay with my own money and not using the gift card because I was forced into that situation. I have never in my life met someone whose only agenda was to put others down. I will be contacting corporate and driving the extra 5 minutes to go to ShopRite. The worst case of customer “care” I’ve ever seen in my life."

"They don’t allow you to return formula even if it’s sealed and unopened. They said because it’s considered contaminated. So now as a single mom I’m short 50$ and also I still need to spend more money for my sons correct formula. I literally decon hazmat material for a living and I just think that’s absolutely ridiculous. If it’s completely sealed it’s NOT contaminated. Either this company hasn’t done the correct research or they are just trying to find more ways to take people’s money and that’s disgusting. Anyways thanks for listening ✌️"

"One of my top 5 one stop shopping destinations. Quality meats, fish and produce. Not to mention just about anything related. Great pet supply section. As well as automotive and magazines! I also appreciate the baking department and in house cakes. Love the cheesecake! My wife takes advantage of the great value in the health and beauty department. Over all that's why it's on my top 5 picks of best one stop shopping destinations! Highly recommended!"
