"The place was cold, and was dark. It wasn’t anything like any of the others, (especially Brooklawn). The panzerotti I had was frozen the first time, and then took almost a half hour to come back out. The steaks we had, the Garlic Bread Chicken cheesesteak was very light on the garlic sauce, and the Philly cheesesteak had an odd flavor. Won’t be in a rush back. Portions were also smaller than their normal. Definitely not holding true to their names sake as I’ve been to a few other Gitana’s locations, and have always had a very good meal. If you want Gaetanos this isn’t the place you want to go."
"I ordered from here on sunday 11/26 and got a salad that was all the end of the romaine lettuce, there was no cheese and one tomato when it says in the description, tomato wedges, shaved cheese, green leafy lettuce, lousy excuse for a salad, then my daughter got a Caesar wrap, and her lettuce was freezer burnt and brown, and smelled horrible. I called and spoke to a woman, she called the owner while I was on the phone, and said he would call and make things right, well it is now tues, and I was waiting for him to call before I made a review, but apparently it doesn’t matter. So yes do not recommend this place at all."
"Stopped in for a late lunch today. Gaetano’s sandwiches are delicious and made with the BEST rolls!! The new owner is very friendly. He’s made some welcome improvements. We’ll definitely be back!"
"So I gave this place 2 tries just because of all the positive reviews. Apparently they have 2 numbers for this place. I called the one I saw on google. If you call the wrong one they will either never pick it up, or pick it up and set the phone down and never come back to it. I ordered from this place bc Im new to the area and the pictures of the food looked pretty good. The food is pretty expensive and turned out to be flavorless and just awful. The photos are all for show guys... My kids never turn down pizza but they took a bite of this and refused to eat it. Its safe to say we wont be ordering from here ever again. If anyone has any good pizza shop recommendations in this area please share them with me!! I haven't had the best of luck in the area but this was by far one of the worst ones."
"Always a favorite place to stop while in the area. I got the 11in sub and it was absolute greatness! Wait time was minimal and they had an awesome staff. I will definitely come back here to try more things on the menu."
