"We have been coming here for awhile now, were from Belmar and our old stomping grounds had closed so we branched out and found the Paramount. What a terrific find this turned out to be. The owners Mike and Linda are wonderful, friendly, kind people. Their staff have all been terrific, we have had Patrice or Catherine as our waitress most visits and we really like both of them The young man who clears the tables, Jessie deserves a nod as well, he is a hard working young man. The food is plentiful, fresh and delicious. We have had both breakfast and lunch and all have been very good. A solid, consistent experience that makes us return over and over again."

"Visiting from out of town. This small town charm meets big city flavor. Delicious food, affordable prices. Ask for Patrice she was the absolute best."

"My boyfriend and I went to lunch here today. It was a quiet Sunday morning so there was plenty of room to park and walk around in the shops surrounding the diner. We wanted to find a little hole in the wall place near us! My boyfriend got the “paramountal” breakfast which had a choice of french toast or pancakes with eggs and sausage/bacon. The french toast was so soft and flavorful! It tasted like a cinnamon bun. I got blueberry pancakes with lemon curd. The pancakes were a little bland but the sausage was amazing! It was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I also loved the atmosphere of this diner. It had the classic red seating and stools. It was family owned by a nice couple who came and talked to us for a few minutes. The bill was very cheap too for the amount of food we got. Overall it was a very calm and homey experience and we will definitely be coming back!"

"This was my first time at this diner. We had a good experience. I like how the decor is retro and how they the restaurant clean. The food was good, I wish the breakfast potatoes were a little better. When you order pancakes or waffles they charge you $2 per toppings. My friend got a single waffle and got charge $4 for adding 2 pieces of strawberries and 4 small pieces of bananas plus $1.50 for getting maple syrup. Beside that our experience was good. The service was great, the server was helpful, patient and really nice. Parking is not so bad usually there are spots near by on the street. I recommend paying with cash, they charge a 3% processing fee for cards, I noticed this is a new thing with many restaurants now a-days."
