"Been here two times. Both times the messed up my wife's order but not mine or the kids. Oops. Maybe it's because I talk too much. I get excited when I see cannoli bagels. LOL. Three times charm. Because we love their bagel sandwiches. My favorite is the Captain crunch bagel, bacon egg and cheese sandwich. My kids loved the Oreo bagel with bacon egg and cheese sandwich. And there variety of cream cheese is bananas!!"

"This place is really hit or miss and lately it has been consistent misses. Today I ordered an egg everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. The bagel wasn’t toasted and it was super doughy, it just looked like a regular egg bagel because there was so few everything seasoning on it. There was barely any cream cheese at all. I had to go back out and buy cream cheese just to eat it. I won’t be going here anymore unfortunately. There are so many other great bagel shops in the area that actually care about the food they serve."

"I had never heard of this place before, but luckily it was suggested to us by a local while we were in the area looking for a quick breakfast. The cream cheese spread case looks like an ice cream desert window. The different flavored bagels they have is stunning. Went on a Thursday with a group of friends, went back Sunday with my family. Need to go about 20 more times to try everything I got my eye on.."

"FREEHOLD BAGEL NOOK First let me say that I haven’t been here in a long time; the experience was not nearly as enjoyable as last time, extremely poor customer service and weak prepared bagels. When I had visited this afternoon we had ordered just two prepared bagels and half a dozen loose of their specialty ones so I can try a little bit of everything later too. There was this lady working there who I had assumed was the manager, she came off as incredibly rude. She was being nasty and sarcastic when I had actually complimented them on their fast preparation of the food. Everything in the window looked pretty good but don’t let that fool you. The actual bagels was even more of a let down as the order was completely wrong and disappointing. My egg everything flat was nowhere near what I had seen on the display, barely any seeds and a tiny regular bagel not even sure it was a flat. The other bagel was an oreo bagel which was pretty much a plain bagel dyed to look like an Oreo, kind of a joke. And everyone has their own preference on cream cheese but I just felt like it was way too much especially after seeing her slap a containers worth on it when the lady prepared it. I really wanted to give the hot food a try but with the time I had and reputation for their bagels I said why not but boy was I wrong. Overall seems like they have the potential for good food but I just saw carelessness."

"Great bagel spot in freehold easy to get to with tons of parking it's in a large strip mall. Prepare for a wait especially on the weekend this place is busy. Friendly staff and tons of options for both bagels and cream cheese (get a Doritos bagel with cookie monster cream cheese I dare you). All the staples are there as well. Great bagel nice and soft and a good size. Porkroll egg and cheese on an everything bagel is my go-to and Bagel Nook does not disappoint!"
