"UPDATE: original review was approx. August. Ordered to give them a try again because there was a promo through the slice app. I ordered for pickup and because the app doesn't let you update the order after completion, I reached out to slice app customer service. They updated the order for the next day, but put it as deliver. The order was accidentally delivered 40 minutes late, and the driver called me to tell her why there's no cash tip. I know drivers make most of their money off tips. The place is with 2-3 blocks and also I explained the mixup and why it happened. Don't call the customer from your cell to tell them on an order that is 40 minutes late why you don't have a cash tip. Original review: I have to say the girl in the front was really nice and really tried to help, but the lack of communication and follow through from the damn kitchen is inexcusable. We ordered 3 pies online and walked over in about 15-20 minutes. We checked on the pies after about 5-10 minutes and were told 15-20 minutes more so we waited. After 15 minutes we got our first pie and asked about the other 2 pies and were told another 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes we after about our pies. We waited a few more minutes.... The kitchen needs to properly communicate about the times the pizza is going to come out. Also there weren't really any customers and I don't know what the other orders were, but they weren't turning over food from the kitchen. Why did we wait over an hour with the place not being busy and then got pizza that tastes like charcoal??? Side note: the girl in the front really tried to be kind and helpful, but at some point she even got annoyed because she kept asking for us and having to explain why the kitchen was not able to make a pie with no customers in the restaurant."

"Anyone who thinks Goodfella's is just doing pizza is wrong! The pizza is fantastic, but my wife and I tried a wide array of items and they were all fantastic, from the pizza, to the porterhouse for 2 and the ravioli; every single thing was great. They also have my favorite local beer, Kills Boro on tap, and a huge bar with many TVs. Could definitely see myself stopping by just for a drink. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for quality Italian food, brick oven pizza, or a night out at a nice bar with quality atmosphere. Andrew, the owner, is passionate about his food and it really shows in every aspect of the experience."

"The food was delicious, from apps through dessert. The pizza, the pasta was all amazing! Must save room for the apple pie pizza alla mode. The service was top notch. Our server Lea was so friendly, so attentive and just the sweetest. The cook came out twice. Once to introduce himself and another time to see if everything was good. He was so personable. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you for a great night!"

"When i went to eat here the other night the food and service was incredible. The pizza is the best i’ve ever had. The dough is always crispy and thick and it’s always cooked to perfection just like the rest of the food. Every time I go I have a great time there. It is the perfect spot to bring friends or family to have a great dinner. The workers are all so nice and there is always a boss coming around to check on us."
