"Ordered the chicharon de pollo from there. Not much pollo to eat. But the rice and beans are ok"
"They need to work on customer service on the phone. The lady who answered me was rude. She rushed me with my order and she was rude on the phone. Like it was an inconvenience to take my order. She first told me they could deliver my order when I asked for delivery. I was put on hold and they hung up on me. When I called back she told no deliveries. I said ok no problem. I would pick up my food instead. I was being polite the whole time but the lady seemed annoyed that I even called back. The food isn’t too bad. Maybe I’ll just go to the Dominican place on Forest avenue. They’re much nicer even tho they don’t deliver at all."
"The place is cozy. The food is better than I expected for the price. I just wish the staff knew more English. However, not a big deal because any Spanish restaurant I go to is pretty much the same. Plus allows me to learn Spanish. Lol. Parking is limited to street parking."
"There are some places that may not look super impressive from the exterior or even in the interior. However that should not over shadow a great restaurant where many local people visit (all the time) to have their favourite Spanish style food. I really enjoyed eating El Pollo’s Spanish home cooking. It is so comforting to eat good quality familiar food. The prices are excellent, staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend you going here, especially if your staying at nearby hotels. I don’t need to make any recommendations to those people who live in this area, they already know this place and go here frequently.
