"It’s hard to scale a restaurant chain and maintain the quality. This is evident in my recent experience at Tacombi. I’ve been coming to these restaurants for many years. Every time I come to New York and have enjoyed seeing new locations popping up all the time. However, this is the first time I noticed that flavours authenticity I had come to love just ain’t what it used to be. Still a fun spot but I’d say it’s 75% of what it was and for me that’s enough to never come back, or at least search for other options when feeling in the mood for Mexican."

"Great taco spot with great flavors and options. The horchata and quesadillas are a bit overpriced, but everything else is reasonable. The salsa has no spice to it at all. The food was filling and the decor here is lively and fun."
"I went here for lunch and the staff was very friendly from the get go. My waiter Roriana was very sweet and attentive. My food was cooked to perfection and I got my tacos in a timely fashion. This location is real cozy, and there's outside seating with heated lamps to keep you warm if that's your preference. Highly recommend! Will be back again!"
