"Nice old tavern..rustic wood throughout. Parking in rear. French Dip good. Pizza a winner. Fun place to see your friends n have a drink . Bar is huge.."
"I've tried to eat here 3 times. All 3 times I waited by the door to be seated. Last time i was completely ignored by the staff until I had to call one of them from far away. Then was told that is a long wait. Completely understandable. What really annoyed me was there was an open table. I asked if we could sit there and was told "no" with no explanations why. We ended up leaving."
"Had fried calamari and a plain pizza. Calamari was weak. Pizza was doughy. Obviously frozen not fresh. Good beer selection, but, pet peeve of mine, a pint that's not a pint. Crowded bar and restaurant. Reservations recommended. Limited parking."
"Pizza and sandwich were very underwhelming. Other than the fillet tip (which was fantastic by the way), food wise it was very mediocre. Service was ok but I wish the server noticed our water was empty. I may have had too much expectations from other google reviews. Also 3.5% credit card transaction fee to customer is just ridiculous considering the prices of food was not even cheap. I just wish the food was better."
"Wow, dude, I love places like this. I really enjoy towny pubs with lively ambience and good food. Grant Street Cafe nails this. I had the double fried wings which I thought were awesome, and then I split the Guinness burger and the prime rib sandwich. The Guinness burger was insane. The fried onions and the candied bacon make it super unique, and the prime rib sandwich has this incredible horseradish sauce and the meat was so incredibly soft. The whole meal was wildly good, and I can’t wait to go back with some buddies."
