"New City Pizza is probably my favorite pizza in the New York area — the pizza is amazing and it tastes exactly how I remember as a little kid. It has a unique flavor, the slices are a decent size, the crust is tasty and they put lots of cheese and sauce on the regular slices, which is the difference maker in my opinion. A crispy thin crust balanced with toppings. That being said, they are / have become somewhat expensive and sometimes the pizza is a little more well-done than you might like; I personally like a crispy crust but I’ve taken other people here who thought it was a bit burnt. Tell them how you want it and you won’t be disappointed There’s plenty of tables, TVs, drinks and ice cream in the back"

"Pizza is fine…a little salty for my taste and VERY expensive! For context, I work all across NYC and never had pizza so expensive as they have here at New City Pizza. $26 for a 10” Medium specialty pie while my favorite pizza place on the Upper East Side of Manhattan has that same pie but a size *Large* for $18! I checked another pizza place in Manhattan just to be sure I wasn’t crazy and again, their Medium pizza was larger (14”) and cheaper $18.50. Their XL 18” is $21.95, still much cheaper than the Medium here! Wow! Guess there’s not enough competition in New City."

"Loved this place! The pizza it’s so delicious, with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The Chicken Ranch was awesome and the garlic nots are really good. Excellent service and very nice atmosphere."
