"This place is a local place that you gotta hit. I've been going here for 30 years. They have a great pie ! Good chew. Good sauce to cheese ratio on a crispy crust!! We asked for it well done and it was perfect. The calzone is deep fried awesome as well. Plenty of parking spots. Birch beer on tap and fresh zeppoles. If your near Elmwood Park you gotta try this old school joint."

Great thin sliced pizza we had caramelized onions very good on the pizza The calzone was great with ricotta cheese and marinara on the side very delicious. We come back whenever we can."

"I have been here before it was sold to new owners and loved it. Today was the first time since it switched owners that I've tried it. People were nice, and the pizza would have been really good, BUT it was pretty burnt and they forgot to cut it into slices. I live about 45 minutes away and stopped by because I was in the area and my family and I were hungry. When I opened the pie in the car I saw that it was pretty burnt and when I tried to rip off a slice, I couldn't. It hadn't been cut which was pretty frustrating. I had to rip it little by little with my fingers and it was very messy. There also wasn't much cheese on it and in some places there was none at all. I felt like it was mostly sauce. This was a poor experience and I'm sure it's not always like this, but I will not be returning. It wasn't that busy either so whoever made the pie was not paying attention. I give it 2 stars because it did taste good, but was burnt and not cut."
