"About the six time I’ve been here. While there might be a bit of buzz around a new chef, it’s the portion size for me that has ruined it. I ordered pasta garganelle, it’s a 36$ pasta plate. I’ve lived in Italy and speak Italian, eaten all over Italy. I was given an appetizer portion for a main dish cost. The chef needs to take a long look at his reputation and decide if he wants to ruin it with whoever is making decisions on portions. Never again."

"In the heart of summit there are dozens of restraints to choose from, but Summit House stands out from the rest in a truly unique way. Chef AJ has some truly tasty and amazing culinary masterpieces on the menu! Starting out with the burrata special, this was spectacular meat in your mouth with chili oil foam and roasted corn, all my favorite things. I moved on to the tuna crudo, very well dressed and prepared, not a huge raw fish person but this was AMAZING! and of course you must get the butter tasting , honey butter is my personal favorite and all the bread is made in house fresh daily! For my entrees I indulged in the pumpkin agnolotti with a generous amount of truffle on top! I also tried the seabass with amazing potatoes! Finally I ended the night with the short rib, personally my favorite dish I order wherever I go; an especially delicious recipe passed down from the chefs mother! A truly overall experience from a must go restaurant."

"Cute restaurant in a beautiful community. I’m not vegetarian and I tried the eggplant main and it was phenomenal! The sauce was so rich and crust on the eggplant so crunchy. Service was excellent, I’m from Canada so I wanted a nicer booth and the hostess accommodated my needs and moved the tables around. The presecco was served chilled and the flutes to match. Overall a great brunch spot."

"Phenomenal experience. Chef AJ has really outdone himself. The impeccable detail to every aspect of each dish we enjoyed was insane. Service was also top notch. From the freshness of something as simple as the zucchini (it literally tasted like it had been fresh picked minutes before hitting the plate) accompanying some of the best halibut I’ve ever tasted, to the beautifully plated fluke crudo with flavor profiles complimenting each bite, nothing here is overdone and it is just perfect. What an amazing meal. We cannot wait to come back."

"we had the crudo of the day... a tuna tartar with herbs and then some... a couple or maybe a few drinks... scallops and halibut for mains... my wife found the new benchmark for a scallop dish... she wanted to eat as soon as we can at the old benchmark so she can be sure... our wait staff was very friendly and warm... we had a really great experience... one more reason to keep coming back to summit nj... cheers!"
