"A reliable go-to local restaurant! I love the generous hours (I usually end up heading here at like 3PM, when many other spots are closed) and the outdoor seating option. There’s also an “almost outdoor” option, like an enclosed terrace which is great year round. As far as food options, I recommend the eggplant parm, any of the pizzas, and the pasta salad. The orange iced tea is always a great refreshing pick! The bread basket is also delicious. My one big complaint is that they allow cell phone use inside the restaurant. This is now the second time here where my serene dining experience was marred by another patron, sitting alone and speaking loudly on her cell phone for the *entire meal* nonstop. She even had the person on speakerphone. AND she was cursing. It really ruins the dining experience for other patrons and should not be acceptable. Many establishments have a “no cell phone use” rule, and Panevino should establish that type of rule ASAP."

"Food was delicious and well worth the wait. Wait was a bit long for a client meeting that we had at the restaurant -- we sat there an hour before getting food for lunch AND our table was informed after waiting for 50 minutes that the one item someone ordered was just finished and they needed to order something else. I would recommend only going if you have a long time to spend at the restaurant. Atmosphere is loud and sometimes hard to hear others at the table -- otherwise, it's a small taste of Italy and we would return, just not in a time crunch."

"Went in for a team lunch and we had reserved in advance. The margarita pizza was good but the bruschetta and burrata were really amazing. Not a lot of Alfredo sauce pasta options, specially for vegetarians."

"I was with my grandma and she loves Italy and of course theirs food, we liked the decoration, place and food. Outside they have a nice flowered patio surrounded by a live green fence. I really recommend the place. I would suggest the owner to have more sauce for the pasta, the menu only had tomato sauce."

"This review comes with abundant photos, of beautiful but entirely unremarkable food. The shining star of our entire meal was the order of Calamari, which was crisp, well salted, and abundant. The Tropical Salad was unworthy of human consumption, the arranged rather than tossed salad, and abnormally large pieces of lettuce, made consuming it on such a small plate all but impossible. The chicken parm was bland beyond our wildest dreams, and used a chicken breath with the bone in wing attached, I would hope someone simply ordered the wrong item, as no one likes the surprise of what looks like golden crispy goodness and ends up being a wing bone. The eggplant parm had flavor and texture notes of uncooked flour, and weirdly distributed layers of mozzarella and herbs... the most offensive thing about it wasn't the side of ... wait... if doesn't come with a side of anything... it was the low moisture part skim mozzarella that they charred into a solid surface ontop. I considered keeping it to plug any leaking tires on the way home. To further enhance the mediocrity, despite being empty, our drinks took 20 minutes to leave the bar. Admittedly the orange whiskey tea is the best thing on the menu... so... go for the drinks and prepare to be otherwise let down... drive for real Italian food, Rezza in Roseland does a nice job... as does the ever venerated E and V in Paterson...ALSO... avoid the expresso... it was the most bitter expresso i have ever consumed...i was waiting for a plume of cyanide gas to come off in the steam... though that may have had more flavor than the rest of the meal..."
