"I was with Pediatric Partners of Hampton Roads when the Practice first opened 21 years ago. I was there as the practice established itself. Dr. Peeples has shown to be knowledgeable and has provided excellent care to my children. In recent years, the practice has had longer wait times then usual due to practice changes and lack of pediatricians. The changed from a private practice to a CHKD practice also have had it's challenges as well. It has been extremely difficult scheduling sick visit and I had to take my children to the emergency room due to this. I have had several experiences with unprofessional administrative staff. However, I have been understanding through it all. These last 3 years have been extremely rough for me. We stuck it through with COVID and Flu. There has been several custody changes and children becoming grown who scheduled and miss their own appointments. This year, as I faced a transitions in my family, I had several things going on in my life that caused appointments to be missed. This includes the passing of my mother and having a new baby who also attended the practice. I have multiple children, and they were scheduled at the same time and those were all counted individually instead of as one, even when rectified the same day (i.e. came at the wrong time and the appointment was pushed down). Dr. Peoples and her office manager dismissed my family from the practice. Even when it with valid documented reasons. My children have came to this practice all of their lives. Dr. Peeples and her Practice opted to abandoned medical care to my children instead of having the same understanding I had for them as the practice made its transitions. I will be making a formal complaint to the CHKD and the medical board. I do not recommend this practice. The practice lack values, compassion, professionalism and care."

"I'm a retired Army veteran with 3 grown children and 2 at home. Dr. Peeples has been the pediatrician for all of them, under private practice and with the late Dr. Barnwell and now with CHKD. Her and the staff have been Awesome.........couldn't ask for any better, we're treated like family!"

"Dr. Peeples and her staff is veryyyyyy rude ! My sister is a first time mother and needed support with her daughter. The staff didn’t render the right support as they do not return phone calls, do not want to be called on the weekend for 24 hr staffing and she was told she needed to learn patience as a mother. As mothers we continuously beat ourselves up as to whether or not we are doing the right thing. To be critiqued as a mother is the LAST thing we want to hear when our child is not feeling well. I mean as first time mothers how can we have patience when we don’t know why our child is crying or screaming. We just want to fix it. I do notttt recommend her or her team. Even the nonchalant attitude is what you do not need to be around. How can you have patience with a staff so rude ??? Anyway. I do recommend Town Center Pediatrics. They are friendly, empathetic, and welcoming."

"Will not be going back to this office. I tried to have my child seen for over a month due to him being sick and not feeling well. I am a first time mom and he was 3 months when he was not feeling well. He is now 4 months and still has not been seen. They kept denying him due to THEIR mistake on his insurance. I had his insurance card and they said they could not take it so I had to wait for the EXACT SAME duplicate card to come in the mail. I have wasted gas plenty of times to drive over there just for them to deny my child from being seen. Now they are trying to charge a no show fee, which was never mentioned when I first started going to appointments. I will not be returning to this office due to the lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this office to others. I also waited in a room once for thirty minutes just for them to come in and say, “oh, I didn’t know we had to give him shots”. This is ridiculous. Do not waste your time. I would give them zero stars if I could."

"Doctor Peebles is an amazing Pediatrician with great knowledge and expertise. She cared for my three children who are all now adults, from birth to adulthood. She especially supported our special needs son, who has autism, through various health obstacles and needed medications. We highly recommend her practice!"
